Her Lindsey Graham is pretty on point, too.93henfan wrote:I feel sorry for Kate McKinnon. He was her bread and butter.
I honestly might like him more than the AGs of any of the last 3 administrations, but that's a pretty low bar.GannonFan wrote:Maybe this is Trump's opening move to eventually legalize pot and he saw Sessions as a stick in the mud on that issue?
In all seriousness, though, who's really upset with this? Sessions was likely one of Trump's worst appointees. I never cared for Sessions as a Senator, let alone the top prosecutor in the land. Hopefully this works out as a way to correct that original mistake. Now, if Trump's doing this to cover-up something, well, for one, it's one of the worst ways to do that and two, it won't work. But that's more conspiracy theory right now. I'm just glad a poor AG is leaving.
If SNL was less political, it would be funnier. The politic sketches can be good...but they lean too heavily on them for material. Watching SNL in the 90s, watching Bush and Clinton get made fun of was easier to watch than the obvious bias they have now.93henfan wrote:I feel sorry for Kate McKinnon. He was her bread and butter.
It's like we're living in a prolonged Saturday Night Massacre.Pwns wrote:I honestly might like him more than the AGs of any of the last 3 administrations, but that's a pretty low bar.GannonFan wrote:Maybe this is Trump's opening move to eventually legalize pot and he saw Sessions as a stick in the mud on that issue?

Doesn't matter, though...Trump's not looking to get someone more competent or with a different stance on pot. He wants someone who will put heat on Mueller, and in that way you could end up with someone worse.
Exactly. This is about Mueller and the Russia investigation. Full stop.Pwns wrote: Doesn't matter, though...Trump's not looking to get someone more competent or with a different stance on pot. He wants someone who will put heat on Mueller, and in that way you could end up with someone worse.
That's exactly what y'all said about Comey's firing. That blew up in their faces when Rosenstein appointed Mueller... But, that was still the goal.GannonFan wrote: Now, if Trump's doing this to cover-up something, well, for one, it's one of the worst ways to do that and two, it won't work. It is hard to watch it now with the severe bias. It's almost cringeworthy at times. But I guess if their competition goes down the road of bias then so do they. Their ratings have been good so it's clearly been a good decision short term.Ibanez wrote:If SNL was less political, it would be funnier. What did I say about Comey's firing and why am I suddenly now "y'all"?Skjellyfetti wrote:Exactly. This is about Mueller and the Russia investigation. I think the smarter play is to drain Mueller's resources rather than fire him... And, that's what I suspect they do.
It's a term of endearment. Bless your heart.GannonFan wrote: why am I suddenly now "y'all"?
I support the Constitution. Let's throw Trump in a cell next to the Clintons.dbackjon wrote:OK America - you can support Trump, or you support the Constitution and the United States. You can't do both.
