It’s finally dawning on him who has the biggest incentive to see him impeached.

I have always thought Pence was worse - need to get rid of them both...93henfan wrote:So you feel better about Trump now. Noted.
No. Trump likes The Gays™.dbackjon wrote:I have always thought Pence was worse - need to get rid of them both...93henfan wrote:So you feel better about Trump now. Noted.

I want to get rid of the Republican Party. Trump is a symptom. Yes, I want Trump to lose the next Presidential election assuming he gets to that point. But I don't care who the Republican candidate is. The Republican Party needs to be destroyed. The nut jobs that form the Republican base facilitating Trump's nomination last time need to be marginalized. We don't need people who would PICK somebody like Trump to be the nominee of a major Party influencing the direction of the country.HI54UNI wrote:I've never understood why the left wants to get rid of Trump. I agree with you. The Republican Party needs to purge the fundies.JohnStOnge wrote:I want to get rid of the Republican Party. Trump is a symptom. In that regard I'm not thinking impeachment. That would be a waste of time as the Republican robots in the Senate wouldn't remove him from office regardless of how much evidence of impropriety there is. And they won't because of that real problem: The nut job Republican base.
What I want to see is the REST of the country reject this nonsense and put that nut job Republican base in the basement where it belongs.
The problem is that the Party can't win without them. The exit polling estimate for in 2016 among people who were NOT "white born-again or evangelical christian" is Clinton 60%, Trump 34%.HI54UNI wrote:

Get rid of the fundies and social issues, focus on economic and defense issues and you will pull the moderate Dems to the party.JohnStOnge wrote:The problem is that the Party can't win without them. In the 2018 House elections, the exit polling estimate for people who were NOT "white born-again or evangelical christian" is Democrats 66%, Republicans 32%.
The Republican Party is in a box. It CAN'T be rational. And that's why it needs to be eliminated as a factor.
Maybe he is the anti-Christ?93henfan wrote: I would trust him to lead us to Armageddon, which is ultimately the goal of all religious fanatics worldwide.
