When it gets interesting... who will turn on trump?

I'm wondering as things get squeezed tighter and tighter
will anybody actually turn on Trump to save their career ..?
It's risky because you don't want to jump ship too soon because he's a slippery con-man
and he might wriggle himself off the hook
and you don't want to jump ship too late
because then you have the stink on you as an insider aware of all the fraud
The Secret Service turned on Clinton first... when he was starting to get investigated
Which makes sense

What astounds me is that anybody in the Republican Party with previous credibility even associated themselves with Trump in the first place. Talk about a massive demonstration of zero integrity. If there is justice in the universe they will indeed pay for it.

SS agents were ordered to testify. Which ones "turned" on Clinton? Not trying to disagree or set a trap; I just don't remember that happening.

I believe (and this might just be my old age) that actually a recently retired agent first came forward...
Which I think inspired others to come to his side and defend his statement

I'm talking mostly about conservative Politicians presently holding office
but there's room for any conversation here as far as others
For example Paul Ryan

McCain, Flake & Corker? One died and the faithful scared the other two away.
Didn't Romney just get elected to the Senate? He's been pretty critical.

Some of the Senators deciding not to seek reelection have turned on him to some extent. Mostly with empty words.
But, Flake has been holding up federal judge nominations until the Mueller protection bill gets a vote.

Me thinks that's why Haley stepped away. The stink was getting too much to bear....

I thought I read two more confirmed yesterday with Pence breaking the tie.

He's holding them up in committee.

Farr - who Pence broke the tie on - made it out of committee last January.
Flake can prevent a judge from getting out of committee by himself. He can't do it by himself on a full Senate vote.

Flake doesn’t know whether to scratch his watch or wind his ass. The Mueller-protection bill he wants the Senate to vote on is probably unconstitutional.

That is perfect last name for Flake.

Putin will dump his body in a shallow grave behind a rest stop on the Interstate. Ryan will disappear from view for a while for the same reason Z attributed to Haley - trying to let the stink that permeates everybody who gets near Trump wear off.

Ah got ya. Yes, it will be interesting indeed. There are a few who quietly have but it will be much more difficult for those in leadership. Place principle over career? Place country over personal gain?

No way. They'd never turn on their dad and he'd never allow them to get in trouble.

Flake and Haley are both preparing for the primary.

Flake should run as a Democrat. He'd have a better chance in that primary.

She's thinking if she gets out now and lays low for a couple of years she may still be able to salvage something like a political career..
