John Boehner and Cannabis Investments

Post by Ivytalk »

So, has anybody obtained the prospectus for this “commodities futures” opportunity?

In ten years, cannabis will be right up there with winter wheat, FCOJ, and pork bellies. 8-)

Say, Flaggy, do you have any weed in your portfolio? You know, diversification. 8-)

I have been in and out of Aurora. Made a little bit. Was hoping my wife would get some early info on A-B's toe-dipping into the field, but no. She called me about 5 minutes AFTER partnership news with Tilray went public. :ohno: :ohno:
Watching Aurora closely now and will begin re-accumulating if it gets below $4.50/share.

How about CBD products? They're advertised constantly on podcasts and seem to be fairly hot right now. It's amazing to see how many elderly people go into the weed store for medicinal products. It's always busy.

The industry is still in it's infancy and you can see it with the inconsistency of products on shelves. They're all over the map when it comes to everything from joints to vape cartridges, to cbd oils and will go weeks without certain products and brands....or so I'm told.

The other surprising thing is how many stores are popping up. They're everywhere, even in small towns.

I'm guessing sales and value still have a long ways to go up as they improved distribution and manufacturing.

US brokers can’t solicit buy orders for cannabis stocks ( mostly Canadian issuers) until federal law changes. Once federal can ban ends, they can. Now, all they can do is execute unsolicited buy orders. Flaggy and other day traders can do as they please. :twocents: But cannabis stocks have been hammered in the last two months.

Buy them all day long through USAA and/or eTrade...

And dude....show me a stock that hasnt’ been hammered the past two months. There’s some real buying opportunities out there for those willing to take a tad bit of risk...
