I hadn't been coming back to this particular thread much so didn't see it. As far as I can tell you're talking about asking me which Democrat candidate I like the best.

If I could pick the one I'd like to see most as President at this point I think it'd be Klobuchar. That's who I'd have the most confidence in with respect to doing the job. I also think she would deny Trump those key midwestern states he eeked by on last time. But I don't think she has any shot to get the Democrat nomination.

The Democrat Party is not my Party though. It just happens that at this time we have a crisis and need to get rid of Trump. And getting rid of Trump requires turning to the Democrat party.

Your TDS is totally possessing you. You would turn the country into a left wing socialist country just because you hate Trump. Amazing.

Trump is the most corrupt President of my lifetime. He may be the most corrupt President in our country's history. Also, the people who support him are a problem. His success revealed that we have a very ugly underbelly to the US population. These people need to be defeated and marginalized. Eliminated as a factor.

Until the Republican Party embraced Trump I was very consistent in saying that the Democrat Party was the big threat and the Republican Party was the means of combatting that threat. But the worm has turned. The Republican Party is now totally corrupted by Trump so that the Democrat Party has become the lesser of two evils.

Now I have time to type that this big "thing" about Biden talking about working with segregationists is ridiculous. This kind of thing is a factor in us having an atrocity like Trump as President right now. I am, of course, hoping whoever the Democrat nominee is knocks Trump off. But this kind of crap decreases the probability.

I'm just saying the people that support Trump need to be eliminated as a factor in the political direction of this country. They need to be marginalized. I didn't say kill them. Just make them outcasts with little to no political influence. And the country will be better off as a result.

Actually

Many Trump voters already consider themselves as you have described - marginalized outcasts

Let’s face it - for better or worse, the rural/suburban white male is demonized openly by Democratic candidates for high office. Trump is at least partially a result of that perception

Careful what you wish for, John

Well, your posts often carry a strong whiff of eugenics, so there’s that. Words like “underbelly,” “marginalized” and “outcasts.” Would ghettoes suffice?

Probably nothing as drastic as that

Maybe just paint “deplorable” on storefronts... and maybe make them sew MAGA patches on their clothes

They also need to give up any businesses they own.

Hate to admit it, but Booker is doing a good job (not of winning me over, but just in general)

Ranking the candidate performances so far:
1. Booker
2. Warren
3. Klobuchar

The rest of them, LoL. And Gabbard needs to find something other than "war bad, also I'm a vet".

I don't love nation-building foreign policy, but Tulsi is an idiot for saying Afghanistan is no better off than when we entered. It's fine to oppose war and interventionism but try to be objective.

Also I'm fairly sure Booker, Warren, Castro, and Klobichar probably said at least twice as much as the other 6 combined. That's on crappy moderation by NBC.

Yeah I'm sure Hunter Biden was more than qualified to serve on a Board of Directors for a petroleum company overseas. He didn't need daddy's help one bit.
