Republicans looked like an absolute joke.

So just like the Democrats during the Kavanaugh hearings.


Not sure why anybody even is surprised when elected officials or political appointees lie/flipflop/cheat on a regular basis. Anybody with a half brain knows that when they open their mouth, what comes out is not going to be the truth.

Actually, yes it was. I didn’t watch but I read about it.

Elijah Cummings also impressed me at one point with his implied rebuke of that Tleab character or whatever her name is.

The big thing to me was that the whole thing for the lead Republicans was "he lied to Congress." Well, what he lied to Congress about was the Trump Tower Moscow thing. He plead guilty to lying about how long negotiations on the Trump Tower Moscow thing persisted in order to cover for Trump saying he didn't have anything going on with Russia.

So to me the Republicans are kind of in a box if people actually think about it. If him saying the Trump Tower Moscow thing where he said it ended way earlier than it did was a lie that means what Trump was lying as well.
