The Dave Leip site is pretty good for historical election information. I think he stubbornly refuses to switch the colors for the parties, though.

Yes but since '96 there appears to be a very distinct pattern emerging... :geek:

So basically, in 1956 the South said, "we're the Democrats!"

In 1964 they said, "PSYCHE!!!"
