Yo...what up Nodak?
The new study from the career-guidance site Zippia did a deep dive on the education level of residents in every state, identifying those with the highest percentage of people with advanced degrees and then ranking them accordingly. Specifically, they looked at US Census data from 2012-2016, and identified the states with the highest percentage of adults that have at least a master’s degree

Some of this can be attributed to what it takes to "make a good living" in any particular state
I know a guy in Arkansas that sells Billboard advertising and makes in the mid-150K range
and he dropped out of high school and almost talked me into dropping out of school back then....
Note: $150K in Arkansas gets you a pool and Mcmansion and a pair of 2018 F-150's one for his GF

Well the list is almost spot on for Dark Blue equals most lopsided fucked up economy
so NOT making the list clearly has some advantages

You're one of the smartest states in the South! (not sure if you're referring to where you live or grew up)

Damn. South Carolina in a rough spot. Shitty in the education rankings and expensive. Assuming it's the coastal areas that are throwing it off?
And, if that map didn't use Subway footlongs to determine affordability, it's bunk.

Not knowing where that came from, I'm skeptical of most of these polls that say something is the most/best "something".
South Carolina is expensive?
The Low Country and Myrtle Beach skew the results. Charleston and Hilton Head are ridiculous (especially when you look at utilities.) I looked at a few list of the Top 10 most expensive places to live in SC, the same 9 were along coast with Greenville being an outlier.
Education-wise: yeah, SC is abysmal. But the cost of living here isn't bad. It's a lot more expensive across the border in NC.

No Gil, I was just playin witcha. Similar to Chizzy’s story, two of the most successful businessman I’ve know were high school dropouts. One was the owner of the waste disposal for all of Bainbridge Island Wa and the other super lucrative body shop and toe truck business around here, sold it and now has a fleet of small engine plains and is a flight instructor in Vegas.

True ^ kalm
The thing about High School drop outs is they persuade others (sometimes powerfully)
I was very close to dropping out of HS after I'd been kicked out of a HS in Baltimore and changed schools

*tow
*planes
How is it that you know how to spell lucrative and businessman, but not "tow" or "planes"?
