As time goes on the more I suspect that Mueller got a lot more than zero. But, regardless, if you think there is nothing to Trump's tax returns you should be at the front of the line saying it's fine to release his tax returns.

In fact, you should be pushing for complete sunlight. You should be pushing for a release of a completely unredacted Mueller report as well as the release of Trump's tax returns so everybody can see how Trump is a pure as the driven snow.
Its personal information that is nobodys business, I know this will shock you but Trump has a right to privacy just like all the rest of us

Remember, Trump won that election by the skin of his teeth. He won Florida by 1.2 percentage points, Michigan by 0.2 percentage points, Pennsylvania by 0.7 percentage points, and Wisconsin by 0.8 percentage points. It wouldn't take much to flip things entirely. If there are things in those tax returns that reflect really negatively on him it could indeed make a difference.

There's a reason why he doesn't want to let people know what is in his tax returns. We don't know exactly what it is. But there is a reason. And it's not just because he wants his privacy.
Trump won by 74 electoral votes, thats an ass kicking

So you care to some degree then. Is it a little or a lot? That's really a large spectrum of caring you left open there for us all to guess about.

Now, if you couldn't care less, that would clear it right up.

And the People are his superior while Congress is its vessel.

Myself and others want our representatives to do what's necessary to get his tax returns, as allowed under their subpoena powers. I'd like to make sure the President has no conflicts of interests.

There is a tax statute from the 20s that allow committees to look at anyone's tax returns. So it's not exactly illegal.

Ironically, it was in response to corruption during a Republican administration.

Eh, they haven't even really brought out the executive privilege argument yet. I don't see this being something that gets resolved easily and certainly not anytime soon. Trump isn't a young man, so there's every possibility that we don't see the tax returns until at least he kicks the bucket, and even then probably not as well.

There are what 4 people that have the authority to look into anyones tax records.

The news media, congress and peoole like Trip and MJ are not on that list. They dont have any right to see private information on any citizens of the USA.

Unless it's leaked by the deep state (I think that's the same deep state that conducted a witch hunt) I don't think we will. Trump only exacerbates claims that he has something to hide or isn't as wealthy as he claims.

Always let people surrender the high ground in a debate...
(kinda like "never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake")

The Republican party has shoveled the bulk of their advantageous positions into the fire pit these past 2 years
My suggestion is to let them continue doing so
