I don't defend Bernie at a personal level. I semi-like his policies, although he's too conservative.

And there's nothing in his history that says, "this asshole undermines law and justice every chance he gets."

Im not going to search for the exact posts but if I remember correctly I criticized Bernie for being an arrogant old curmudgeon who favored Soviet style planned economies and you defended him based on remarks from someone you knew who worked on his campaign.

I'm pretty sure he's an arrogant, crotchety old man that thinks that he and a cabal of like-minded "geniuses" can do a better job of allocating resources than the market and that there is no problem with him and his cronies enjoying the good life because of the important work they do for the "people".

I searched my posts for Sanders, Bernie, and UNI88; I didn't see anything replying to you. I support his general movement, but I'm not the biggest Sanders fan as you'd see in my post history.

I'm actually disappointed because I thought Barr might be a man of integrity. He obviously isn't.
Actually he was just telling the truth and you **** cant deal with that since you dont deal in facts and a proven report.

How can you rail against Mueller, call it a witch hunt and a waste of time and money, call it illegal and appear to undermine it...THEN turn around and say it's great b/c it gives you the outcome you desired? Seems backwards to me.

Oh that's right - hypocrisy and bullshit. I forgot we're dealing with Trump and politicians.

Why not go with Mueller's quote instead of yet another second-hand interpretation?

Because that doesn't give him the outcome/perspective he wants. Deep Staters and career bureaucrats are bad, evil, blah blah blah until they give you want you want.

Maybe you can help - I'm still not clear on why the Deep State engineered the election to give us this outcome.

Its like the Deep State isn't any more competent than the Official State. So confusing. :?

You see, the deep state controls the country, got Trump elected only so it could investigate him and then not do anything afterwards.

He's a cranky, arrogant, old-school Soviet socialist who looks up the Che Guevara and thinks that government wonks like him are better suited to make economic decisions than capitalist entities.

I personally know his campaign manager - Jeff Weaver - for 10+ years now. The man is basically Sanders' ultimate PR machine. Everything you said is far from the truth, but believe what you will because reality clearly doesn't matter anymore; people just live in their fantasy internetz worlds.

ps. I voted for Clinton in the primary but I should have voted Sanders. Although she's fine and I don't hate her brand of progressiveness, I thought she had the best shot at winning.

And Kalm's right, I should have said market not entities.

What exactly is the quotation you are referring to?

I don't really see any interpretation in the WaPo's report. The DOJ spokesman is simply relaying some of Mueller's comments in a phone call with Barr.
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

My bad, wrong word - I wonder why Barr didn't just release the summary provide by Team Mueller instead of taking it upon himself to tell us, though not to Mueller's satisfaction, what it said. There was no need for him to interject himself other than to check the redactions team Mueller made.

So just to get the leftard narrative straight, the concern should be how Barr delivered his summary vs what Mueller wanted (nevermind that the redacted report came out within a couple weeks anyways) and we should still ignore that there was no Trump Russia collusion. I get that right?
