I'd say pretty well if N Korea is forced to launch missles at China's behest.
China played the delay game and now faces increased tariffs.

One of my buddies, who has been doing business in China for almost 20 years, doesn't have any complaints. Another is looking to get a product made there.

Re: Chinese Trade Negotiations
I enjoy seeing people who criticized Trump for trashing the TPP also criticizing him about trade negotiations with China
TPP - we lose no matter what
Trade negotiations with China (with tariff lever) - maybe we lose

Re: Chinese Trade Negotiations
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa- ... SKCN1SE0WJThe document was riddled with reversals by China that undermined core U.S. demands, the sources told Reuters.
In each of the seven chapters of the draft trade deal, China had deleted its commitments to change laws to resolve core complaints that caused the United States to launch a trade war: Theft of U.S. intellectual property and trade secrets; forced technology transfers; competition policy; access to financial services; and currency manipulation.
So China does what China does and Trump lives up to his end of the bargain and hammers them with the additional tariffs. The plot thickens.

Send the little cockroaches in their Mao Jackets home. You can’t trust the Red Chinese. And that’s from Reuters, a news source that even StWronge would trust.SDHornet wrote:https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa- ... Trump will punish his #Deplorables (and the rest of us) with higher tariffs. He ain't beating the Chinese. He will cause us pain and in 2 years it will be someone else's mess to clean up.

But if you think Chinese trade hegemony and the eventual shift to world trade in the Yuan are somehow not inevitable ... I have a 7 Gorges Dam to sell you

On Jan. 23, 2009 when Obama took office.....the Dow stood at 8077. When he left office it was 19827 on Jan.20, 2017. That's +11750 (+168%).SeattleGriz wrote:Not as well as it is now.mainejeff wrote:
