I expected to see a thread on this. I looked a little and didn't see it. Where is it being discussed?

Ok. I'll start:

Trump screwed up by nixing the Iran deal. It's becoming more and more apparent. They are ramping up their nuclear program and causing a lot more shit now . His action most certainly did NOT make things better.

That deal Obama made was never official and was terrible. Trump had nothing to do with how those lunatics behaved. Look at things rationally once in awhile instead of TDS.

I was against the way the Iran deal transpired. But I don't think I'd say it was not "official." Anyway, I do not think we are in a better place with respect to Iran right now as a result of Trump's decisions. I think we are closer to having Iran with nuclear weapons right now than we would be if Trump had just left things as they were. Also, I do not think we'd have had things like the spate of oil tankers being damaged and this Saudi oil production thing.

Trump screwed up. At some point you are going to have to admit it.

Oh, they’re going to have nuclear weapons alright. Just not in the way they imagined. :coffee:

Nice!

You just resurrected the old lefty “we should be nice to them on their own terms so they don’t do bad things” Cold War Soviet pablum

I didn’t think there was anyone left with that old school intellectual bankruptcy but I guess I was wrong

You’re like Tip Klam O’Neil himself

Treaties have to be ratified by Congress, that was not. Those loons are crazy and would be acting out regardless who was in WH. They were not following the agreement anyway.

'High probability' Saudi attack launched from Iranian base near Iraq
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (CNN)Saudi and US investigators have determined "with very high probability" that the weekend attack on the Saudi oil industry was launched from an Iranian base in Iran close to the border with Iraq, according to a source familiar with the investigation.
The attack involved cruise missiles flying at low altitude, the source said, and their trajectory was from the north of the Abqaiq complex, which was struck by more than a dozen projectiles in the early hours of Saturday morning. The source added that there is absolutely no indication that these missiles came from a southern area and especially not one as far as Yemen.
The missiles, according to the investigators' current assessment, flew over southern Iraq and through Kuwaiti airspace before reaching their targets. The trajectory would imply that the launch point of the attack was being masked.

Israel will ensure that Iran does not develop nukes. They have better intel inside Iran than we do.

Israel doesn’t have the bunker busting capability to take care of it from afar.

Maybe a commando raid, but that would have to wait until Iran is actually assembling a bomb. Right now their component operations are spread out all over the country

We supply enough military aid to the Saudis that they can handle whatever response they deem appropriate. This isn't something the USA needs to strike Iran over - just keep choking them with sanctions, obviously it's having an effect.
