You should have that AOCD checked out, it seems to have aggravated your butthurt.
AOC is merely comic relief, you must be older than dirt to be older than me. Have you heard the saying, to be young and conservative means you have no heart, to be old and liberal means you have no brain.

I didn't stick around long enough to get the details this morning, but on CBS This Morning, someone was mentioning that this whole impeachment thing might well blow up in the Democrats' face, with Trump surviving and Biden losing out.

Of course, that COULD just mean that one of the other Donkey candidates wins in November, but particularly for those in the Congress right now, a failed impeachment bid could backfire on THEM, too....

Except that wasn’t my question. Are the “Rush Limbaugh and Hannity talking points” true or untrue?
What's wrong with second hand evidence? I doubt Linda Tripp was watching while Monica was sloppin' the knob :coffee:

Nope.....the Republican Party & "Conservative" movement will be.

:coffee:
One can argue the Republican Party and conservative movement is dead.

It's Trump's Party now.

One can argue the Republican Party and conservative movement is dead, at least in any classical sense.

It's Trump's Party now.
It’s a cult of personality. Nothing more. And anyone that opposes is an enemy.

The same is with AOC and the squad....or whatever it’s called.

In what sense will the GOP "die"?

I mean, as things stand now Joe Biden will probably boat-race Trump, but if Bernie or Lizzie somehow win then you've got yourself a ball game again.

Either way, the GOP will get it's pulse and strength back in spades whenever donks try to push the pendulum too far the other way (and they will).

Exactly. Trump is a one-off whose domination of the GOP will end as soon as he leaves office. He has not cultivated a new generation of office holders that will last. Conservatives and “leaners” will then return to it, if they ever really left.

The odds of Trump being the 2020 candidate are fading by the minute.

If he is, the Guam guy would beat him.

The party is not dead but don't ignore how far right that pendulum has swung or that there's a populist side to the left as well.

in a lot of ways I feel like conservatives will come back stronger than ever
there's a lot to learn from Trumps Nationalism

Standing adjacent to Trumps debacles and bumbling they will look like "what we need right now"

while the social justice warriors will receive no such redemption
instead they will act like victorious twats
and parade around like Popes and Cardinals
when they were handed a perfect opportunity to reform as well

There will always be two sides. Probably because both sides are so fallible, but also because people love to argue. No one side is going anywhere.

So Cleets has the ability to edit a post without it showing up? I checked his post after your claim and it showed no edits. :suspicious:

I assume it was perfect timing. If you submit your edit before somebody else submits another post, it doesn't show you edited.

"What the hell happened to the GOP of Eisenhower?"

Says the supporters of the donk party that is nothing like what JFK oversaw and (based on the debates) might even be starting to repudiate the party of Obama.
