I think she probably got suspended for the “white trash” comment in the graphic

I think it is safe to say there’s people in that county who might be sensitive to that

"White trash" is an inherently racist term.

Is it ok for a white person to use it but not a person of color? Kind of like how an African American can use the N word but a white person can't.

TBH, the term white trash doesn't really bother me.

In fact, I use it to describe where I come from, especially when among some of my pinky-out teacup colleagues at DoS. As in, "DoS needs to work on its diversity by employing more white trash like me."

Unfortunately, we are in a race to the bottom on stupid sensitivity and once one group gets a leg up in the victim sweepstakes, everybody is going to jump onboard.... including those who would criticize the concept of political correctness

As usual, you're right. "White trash" isn't inherently racist just as Cracker and the N word aren't inherently racist. Too many people are looking for reasons to be outraged victims.
