It's purely geography. Canada and the US are beacons in our part of the world, but we'll always get the brunt of it because we actually border Central America. Europe is a beacon in their part.

Although on second thought, let's take Russia out of the equation for a ton of reasons. That leaves the US with 5 million more immigrants than just the European nations on that one chart.

That still leaves 36 European nations (micro-nations not included) to come up with 5 million immigrants. I'm sure between Belgium and Portugal and Greece and Poland and Austria and Hungary and all of Scandinavia and every other European nation, we can come up with that number.
