So who else has been following this?
Funny that Tucker Carlson takes the time to stand up for GG but much of the Hillarybot media doesnt seem to care.
It kinda puts saying bad things about journalists on Twitter in perspective, that's for sure.

Twitter is a social medium designed for 2020 America: short attention spans, 140 characters, and marginal literacy. Why Greenwald is farting around in Brazil is a mystery to me, with all that’s going on right here.
Oh, and did I forget to mention that Tucker Carlson is a punk?

He lives in Brazil with his husband who is from there. He was at one time threatened prosecution over Wikileaks reporting if he came back to the US.
But way to mock freedom of the press, Mr. Constitution Dude.

Sounds like Bernie is the only candidate sticking up for him.
The further we go the more it becomes apparent how gutless the Dem establishment is. Except in the case of the Clintons who I truly believe are simply horrible people.

That decision is up to the Brazilians, Mr. Snowden Lover. We can’t impose our high standards on every backwater.

Wait... where does Brazil rank on the graphic chart?
Are they more or less democratic than us?

Didn't even break a sweat with that one. And yes, I like BOTH Greenwald and Snowden because.....freedom and transparency.

I’m cool with Greenwald. He published info from a 3rd party. I’m sure there is an ill-founded law against it, but if someone pilfers classified info and gives it to a journalist, that journo should not be culpable. Even if he knows the info is classified (enticing someone to do so is conspiracy, though).
Also/ non-US citizens should not be culpable for leaking classified... Espionage Act be damned. So I’m also cool with that queer looking Australian cunt
But if you are a USC in a position of public trust and you willingly expose classified info, I am fully in favor of life imprisonment with no parole in peacetime and the death penalty in wartime

Well, I don't know about "much of"...but I had the TV tuned to either MSNBC or CNN earlier this week and saw a fairly long piece on his plight and casting him as somewhat of a hero. Even stuff about how he could have gotten out of the country but instead chose to stay and fight it out.
Here is the problem with people saying the mainstream media don't cover things...at least from my standpoint. People who say that often don't watch/listen to the mainstream media enough to know that. I listen to Rush Limbaugh fairly frequently when I am on the highway. One thing I hear him do over and over again is basically say, "the mainstream media won't report this but..." when, because I have been watching the mainstream media, I know they reported it.
It's part of the paranoid right wing thing with the mainstream media. They accuse the mainstream media of failing to report things that they actually do report. It happens all the time. But the conservatives in the conservative media echo chamber don't realize that. They're buying it.

The point about what Trump is doing isn't that he is throwing journalists in jail. It is that he is a person who functions through the distribution of misinformation and his actions are part of an effort to insulate himself from the mainstream media's predictable effort to try to make the public aware of the fact that he is lying to them. It's a very dangerous thing. He wants to get away with bullshit so he is trying to convince the public not to believe the mainstream media when they report that what he's saying is bullshit.
