Laugh all you want but CNN caught lying again..

Trump just held a press conference with the admiral coordinating with FEMA, and execs from Fed Ex, UPS, and medical supply chain companies.. Fox was showing it. I flip over to CNN and they weren’t covering it, just more of their incessant Trump bashing..Funny how CNN would cover Obama’s press conferences..
MSNBC had it. I watched for a minute. He referred to certain states as “opponents” and said nothing average Americans didn’t know two weeks ago.

Lead from behind.

[He’s a goddamned train wreck. Forget that. He’s the pile of coyote shit the train ran over a few miles ago[/b]. I turned it to Tiger Kings for some sanity.
Well, for a ‘god damn train wreck’ he sure has good approval ratings..

LMAO. You are so far gone as a Cultist. What flavor Koolaid do you want?

Trump hasn't been right on ANYTHING. But then again, that describes his entire, horrid, ANTI-AMERICAN presidency.

I see you left out January 22nd in your inane replies

Of course we had it under control going by what the WHO said in Jan that it wasn’t transmittable human to human.

It will work out. We’ll get therapeutics, then a vaccine, and the disease will be defeated.
Did shut it from coming any more from China after some with the virus had already come in. But it kept more from coming in. And you libtards cried racist. Should have even been done a couple weeks earlier.
Dr Fauci and Dr Birx have said it could be cylical, diminish this summer, and return later this year or 2021.
https://www.businessinsider.com/fauci-w ... are-2020-3
He has said a number of times it is like a flu. Both are viruses that
are contagious respiratory illnesses
It’s very possible it will disappear.
Even the WaPo's fact checker (obviously no friend of Trum) acknowledges that Trump didn't call the virus itself a hoax. Don’t get stuck on stupid.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... lam-trump/
The CDC doesn’t know the current # of US flu deaths. Oct 1-March 14 they estimated between 29k-59k. They don’t know now.
https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/pr ... imates.htm
Its under a year and half away. The 18 month clock started back in Jan, are over 20 vaccine trials underway in a global race. Phase 1 testing began in record time- about 60 days. Will will have a vaccine relatively soon in 2021, likely in record time.
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/03/20/who-off ... -cure.html
So far Trump has been right. It’s obvious to anyone that the publish WHO mortality rate is bogus because of the world wide mass # of untested and/or asymptomatic. Dr Fauci (among others) have also said around 1%. So Trump’s “hunch”’is right. :nod
I see you’re cherry picking Trumps comments.

‘Hasn’t been right on anything’ um, ok.. :dunce:

Jan 22 is there now. Of course he said they had it totally under control in Jan. The WHO said in mid Jan it wasn’t transmittable human to human. If that were true, then it would have been totally under control..

So far it is fortunate that he seems to be following guidance from Fauci and Birx

Also he seized upon some modeling outputs to put himself in position to say he did a great job if anything less than 200,000 die in association with COVID-19. Smart move on his part, I guess. But only because there are so many people who can't see what he's doing.

Never mind that he spent more than a month saying that there was nothing to worry about and everything was under control because he implemented a partial travel ban between China and the US. Never mind that existing assessment indicated that doing travel restrictions really wouldn't help that much and that it's more important to do OTHER things that we have just been getting to during the past couple of weeks.

Eh, he was right about shutting down travel to China. Something the open borders leftists lambasted him for. Trump has said plenty of stupid stuff about this (and plenty of other issues), but when leftist governors like Cuomo and Newsom give him praise then I think we can pretty much put to bed the idea that his handling of this has been a total train wreck.

No, the two are not related not at all; Trump said in so many words that if you want ventilators you better praise him. You were probably sucking him off at the time and didn't hear it. :coffee: :bj:

On the testing front, Admiral Giroir (FDA head) said during this evenings press conference that as of yesterday US had performed over 894k tests.

Game changer- Couple days ago FDA authorized Abbott Labs' portable, 5-minute point of care. test. 50k a day beginning this week.
Last week, the FDA approved another coronavirus test from Abbott, the m2000 RealTime SARS CoV-2 EUA test, which is used for large batch testing at university and community hospitals. Between the two platforms, Abbott expects to produce about 5 million tests per month.
Other companies have also developed point of care tests

So you mean to tell me that American ingenuity and production ramp-up can actually beat this thing?

I am SHOCKED!

I thought Trump alone was responsible for anything and everything related to this and that because of him we were all going to die.
