Science is never settled. If the science was settled, we would know exactly how to control the climate, we can't, that's why we adapt, if we can't adapt, then another species will. The climate change money mongers use the changing climate to line their pocket books, algore, and don't really care about anything else, algore. It helps to have millions of followers believing in their money scheme.
So science is only when you can control something?

Are we really still arguing whether global warming is a hoax?

San Francisco’s health order states attendees at live indoor performances must remain masked except when actively eating or drinking. Their mayor after being caught at a large indoor gathering maskless & dancing:
“We don’t need the fun police to come in and micromanage and tell us what we should or shouldn’t be doing,”

“My drink was sitting at the table. I got up and started dancing because I was feeling the spirit and I wasn’t thinking about a mask.”
https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/m ... term=first

Then get rid of your worthless mask mandate, you fooking ‘good for thee but not for me’ elitist hypocrite.

Interesting thread.

Guy says Pfizer's own data shows that getting vaxxed after you have recovered from COVID, adds no benefit, but would cause 23 adverse events, just to prevent one reinfection if you vaxxed previously COVID recovered patients.

Where's StOnge to look over this math?! Cross the t's and dot the I's?

“Guy says” followed by no links probably doesn’t interest JSO that much. At least it shouldn’t.

Well it's kinda unfortunate that we need to have these rich people events when you know...we could raise taxes to better support our cultural institutions. In this specific case though, that's on New York City's politicians.
AOC is also a politician and should understand optics. How much do you want to bet that AOC had a problem with Melania's " I don't care" jacket? It's all about optics and going to a wealthy-only party where tickets are $35k and to actually sit at a table is $200k wearing a dress that says to tax the very people you are rubbing elbows with isn't about bravery and doesn't advance your cause to tax them. It takes away from your argument and positions you as a hypocrite. A decent PR person should've told her that if she wants to wear the dress....don't do it at glamour party for rich people.

Besides, we don't need to raise taxes. We pay enough already. We NEED to cut spending. We NEED to trim the budget and do away with wasteful spending. The IRS collected $3.5T last year.

$3B is wasted on vacated or under-used fed properties.
How much money would be saved if we tighten Medicare payments?
Both Presidents Obama and Trump wanted to reduce/eliminate the CDBG which could save about $3.5B/yr. Congress said no.
Quit making A1 Tanks - the Army doesn't want them but Congress won't stop production b/c it'll cost jobs.

We could save billions and billions each year but we won't. I get it - no Senator/Rep wants to vote to take $$ out of their constituents pockets so they'll vote for a wasteful program while at the same time complain about wasteful spending. We won't b/c we're short sighted and our politicians don't really care about what the next 20-40 years will look like since most of them will either be dead, dying or entering retirement with a fat pension and MILLIONS of $$$ made by their gov't contacts. Another thing...to actually SOLVE the problem will require effort, sacrifice, compromise by the parties and the population and that just isn't America. American's aren't going to voluntarily hurt themselves today to reap the benefits tomorrow.

You have to click the Twitter post, which then takes you to his 4 tweet post, which has links to two studies. Twitter been a total pain lately. If you don't have an account, which I don't, they make it a total pain to work with.

Unfortunately, that's not what the most highly vaccinated areas are showing. We can be thankful those that get a breakthrough case, only get a mild case, but they still are catching COVID.

Correct. 89Henette is taking a rapid test this morning as she is under the weather. She is a teacher at a lower income school and they've had tons of kids and teachers go home sick. Lots of Covid going around, even among the vaccinated.

Roughly 10% in WA from what I’ve read. Plus…less hospital strain. Plus less variant development.

Where are you getting the "less variant development" from? While it is true variants will develop in those unvaccinated, you have specific pressure from the vaccines that are driving the specific escape variants of concern.

Think of it like antibiotics. What is left over if you don't take all your antibiotics? A bacteria that can now evade. Same principle with the vaccines that aren't sterilizing.

That doesn't jibe with my Epidemiology degree from Facebook Tech.

Yeah, I think you just threw that last one (less variant development) in there even though there's nothing to back that up. Hey, I'm all pro-vaccine, I'm even pro-mandating it for all schools and pro having businesses decide to mandate it. But I don't necessarily think there's less variant development because of the vaccines - doesn't seem to be a decrease in transmittal, just a decrease in severity if you do get it.
