All of which are associated with obesity and shitty eating/exercise habits (and smoking/vaping, I’ll add that one as well).

THAT is the real pandemic in this country. The severity of COVID is merely a symptom of the underlying problem.
Obesity is a serious problem and I don't think we'll ever overcome it. Too many processed foods, fast foods and inactivity among other reasons that our population won't go with out (I know it's difficult for me.)

And i'll give you a, "hell yes!" to the vaping.
Agreed. I'm totally on board with a "fast food" tax on places that serve unhealthy food.

ONE > zero. And if there's one there might be more. Marina chizzied those numbers, she's is full of shit.
I don’t doubt there’s more than one. The post specifically said they analyzed 48,000 children. They didn’t say they analyzed them ALL.

Point being. You analyze 48,000 of ANYTHING and don’t find ONE instance of something, it’s pretty fucking rare. Like “unicorn” rare.

Regardless of the human or animal variety, it's for the same problem - parasites. Not a virus. Unless you have worms in your lungs, the science isn't there to back up any claim that it'll effectively treat a respiratory virus.

They won't take the FDA approved drug to treat COVID but they'll take the FDA approved drug to treat intestinal parasites. It defied common sense and logic.

Logic would tell you that BigPharma would jump at the chance to push another treatment out there in an effort to make more money but given that Merc says this is not its intended use and there's zero science to sustain any claim has to count for something.
Why would they jump on a narrative to push a drug that isn't going to need a booster every (fill in the blank) months?

Regarding Ivermectin, I haven't checked up on its usefulness fighting the China Virus. I don't care, more focused on the narratives against a drug already on the market that is approved for human use. If doctors want to prescribe it to treat the China Virus then so be it. They know what they're doing, right?
Is it being prescribed for Covid?

Speaking of side effects.

The Food and Drug Administration warned that ivermectin in large doses can cause side effects including “skin rash, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, facial or limb swelling, neurologic adverse events, sudden drop in blood pressure, severe skin rash potentially requiring hospitalization and liver injury.”

And are vaccinated folks not able to transmit the China Virus anymore? Because when did that happen?

Yes. Much easier to just destroy the country and the economy in one fell swoop, treating a symptom instead of the cause.

I have 2 friends and a family member that are trying to get pregnant. Three different doctors said if you want kids at this time, do not get any of the vaccines and not for the duration of the pregnancy. (all couples were in their late 20's)

How about my vaccine allergic Aunt who cannot get any as there is a 80% chance she will go into shock?

This vax/no vax or die leaves room for no middle ground and quite a few people are going to get caught in between and punished for no good reason.

Two of my friends (one nurse) were vaccinated during the pregnancy. The nurse was vaccinated two weeks before she gave birth.

Both had healthy babies and aren't worried they'll leave their child without memory of a mom. Thanks science!

2 weeks! The vaccine hasn't even kicked in yet until after that period. :shocking:

She had the child in February and got the vaccine as soon as it was available to her, which was in late January.

My first comment was not a blanket statement that if you are trying for kids, not to get the shot (it does read like that though and that is my bad). Everybody's medical situations are unique and that is why I stated the doctor said not to.

Family member has a blood disorder (both of them do) and one friend has other health issues. The others are healthy as far as I know but that is between them and their doctor. My point was to state that there is not a either get it or don't and if you don't obviously you hate science and are fine with killing grandma but that each case is different and a blanket solution (like what Biden just announced he will implement) is going to cause alot of problems for people that do not neatly fall into the categories.

The shot will kill my Aunt who is a nurse. Is there going to be an exemption made for her and people like that? I hope so, but I doubt it and if they do, it will be an after thought. The only thing our elected betters are good at is lining their own pockets and being incompetent as possible.

LOL! What about the zeta variant?

It is nothing but political posturing and when it doesn't get the results they want (limiting it to firms over 100 employees was an interesting way to leave out the vast majority of people), they will take the next step.

If he really cared, everybody should get it. :coffee:

Wonder how they will deal with the Fall wave we know is going to happen? If those postal workers had just been vaccinated...

Because the honor system isn’t working. To WB’s point, those caught in the middle for legit medical reasons have a gripe but how many are there? Plus it’s a temporary community health measure which can be relaxed once numbers are driven back down.

See this is the confusion - there's no consistency. A friend of ours and my sister are both pregnant and told to get the vaccine. They have had no complications, thus far. There are many stories about pregnant women who die of COVID, even after being told to get the shot.

Your aunt has a legitimate concern and shouldn't be harrassed or whatever. If some of these vaccines were not mRNA, I couldn't take them. I'd be in the same boat as your aunt.
