That would make interesting television.

If you look at the votes, the "moderates" are doing better than the "extremists". If we consider that Bernie and Warren are extremists and Pete, Amy and Joe are the moderates, it's clear who the majority support. In Iowa, the Mods got 54% compared to the 44% for the Extremists. In NW, that margin widens to 52% - 34% with another 10% going to spoilers like Yang, Gabbard, Patrick and Steyer. These are all approximates.

For any real chance at beating Bernie, the mods will have to coalesce around someone like Pete and just blow Sanders out of the water. Even if Sanders were to pick up a Warren endorsement (which I think is doubtful), I see the Democratic party pulled in two directions.

I don't believe that Klobuchar can go the distance. She has almost zero ground game in any state other than Iowa and NH. It's too late to get up to speed in Nevada and SC. Warren and Biden have to do something incredible in the next few weeks otherwise they'll be knocked out completely after Super Tuesday.

A visibly irritated Sanders yanked the mic away. The woman then grabbed another mic on the podium.

“Bernie, I’m your biggest supporter, and I’m here to ask you to stop propping up the dairy industry and to stop propping up animal agriculture. I believe in you,” the woman said before her mic was cut.

Sanders exited the stage as a chaotic scene unfolded.

Several other women – at least two of whom were topless – joined the first woman on stage. The group threw various liquids on the podium and around the stage before security intervened...
