Trump Private Estates over charging the Gov.

Here's some not even remotely surprising news...
The Privately owned Trump properties are over charging our secret service more than twice the promised rate...

While Eric Trump claimed that Secret Service agents "stay at our properties for free — meaning, like, cost for housekeeping."
He insisted last year that "we charge them, like, 50 bucks." when in reality room listed for $177 average rate were actually charged $396.00

What won't the Trump machine lie about..?
The claims of no big deal are expected except this has been going on for three years while Trump insists on using his properties for personal gain

I get a kick out of memes I see from time to time on FaceBook about how Trump is donating his salary to this or that. He's making way more than his salary by funneling government business to his properties. Also has foreign governments using his properties to curry favor. I think when all is said and done and we someday see the whole picture we'll see that his salary is peanuts compared to what he's getting from using his position to funnel and influence patronage of his properties.

Trump is the first President to profit from his position. He is such a scumbag.

By the way did you see Obama's new house?

:-P

Nobody misunderstands the advantage of being president...
Speaker fees and book deals and free everything for life - everybody gets that and understands that

and nobody is debating that

But over charging the Federal Government four times more than you claim in print !!!
while lying right to the public and stating the opposite - to the tune of hundreds of millions in personal gain is exceptional
unless you can share with me other such examples ..?

I enjoy your Trump is just a regular guy like anybody else schtick Unification88
but it plays pretty thin in the face of the dumpster fire that is this administration abuse of America

I wish I thought stealing a half a billion dollars from America and lying about was this funny...
I wish Republicans really did think "accountability" was something that they aligned with and not just for everybody else

The New ZERO accountability GOP !!!

I pointed this out a long time ago. I know a little about golf cart rental fleets. When you’re bringing in 90 carts for the SS to use each round, charging the government something over a $100 per rental which is way over keystone, and either pocketing the profit at Mara Lago or lining the pockets of the luckiest Club Car dealer in the country or both...it’s a great racket!

But yeah....Hunter leveraged his family connections to get over payed by some Ukrainians or something....

No the funny part is that both sides have been doing and nothing is ever done...

...because now the other side of the aisle gets to complain about it...

...and do nothing about it when the pendulum swings their way again.

All fair points but then why should any of us care about doing the right thing? Oh....and there’s a slight difference between Hunter Biden and the President of the United Fucking States.

And why don't you point out a recent example of a Democrat President stealing a half a billion dollars in plain sight..?
Just one solid example and I will gladly relent

:geek:

and no...
Dick Cheney giving his own company 30 billion in no contest bids doesn't count
I'd like a Democrat Administration example please

Solyndra at $535M. :coffee:

Obama used executive privilege to block access to personal calls related to the deal. You're welcome.

But yeah, only a conk thing. :dunce:

Firstly I gotta give you props for the dollar amount being perfect !!! (excellent example)
But it was an approved loan by Republicans...

"In 2006, the U.S. Department of Energy invited the company to apply for a new loan guarantee program, a program created with the support of a majority of Republicans, who controlled Congress at the time.

The company's December 2006 pre-application was enough to vault it into a group of 16 applicants invited to submit full applications in 2007. By early January 2009, Solyndra's file had been reviewed by the department's credit committee and returned with a request for further analysis. On Jan. 15, the loan program office said "due diligence" for the Solyndra loan was scheduled to be complete by March 2009. The money was going to build a gleaming new factory in Fremont, Calif."

They should remake The Grifters and cast it with members of the Drumpf family.

Rumors abound that Don Junior wants to succeed his father. Can you imagine Kimberly :flash: Guilfoyle as First Lady?

Dem Presidents don't rape America and then lie to our faces about it. I love Trump......but the guy is in it for himself. He could care less about ANY of us.....and he will lie, cheat and steal his way to the grave because WE owe it to him. :thumb:

It's kinda sad to see that Cleets has finally contracted TDS. Must be because he realizes it's four more years.

I guess if you consider me a fan because I take great pleasure in watching usually normal Libs turn into crying, irrational dolts... yeah, I guess then I'm a fan. Didn't vote for him in 2016, probably won't vote for him again.
