I don't get modern politics - Biden goes on record as saying 10%-15% of Americans are "not good people". So that's the quantity of deplorables out there? I guess on the bright side he didn't call them irredeemable, so there's still a chance they could get better. All he has to do is not go down the rabbit hole where Trump is and yet he can't help himself. What a crappy election coming up.

Hey, I'm not saying I disagree. I just question the political expediency of heading into an election and lambasting a substantial portion of the population. Especially as the other word for that population is "voters". Leadership involves being able to lead those folks too.

My guess is most blacks stay home and Trump will see a marginal increase in support. Biden needs big turnout from blacks. The wild card is ballot harvesting and I expect the DNC to go full force with that this time around.

That reminds me of my days as an undergrad in Delaware's ChemE program. We had a lab course where we had to meet with the professor and go over some preliminary work and we had screwed up the math on a section of it. The guy was a pretty easy going prof and when he saw what we did he just brushed it off as "well, you're only off by a couple of orders of magnitude on this one". That's Joe, just off by a couple of order of magnitudes. I can understand.
