My whole office moved to work at home and things are slower than normal. But we are all still working.

All Trump has to do is start holding MAGA rallies again. That would be the bellwether as to what is really going on.
Come on Donnie.....do it. #MAGARallyChallenge

Being retired and living on a farm means nothing has changed here except I can't get together with my drummer friend for our daily music routine at his shop where we keep the backline, so I'm using my little practice amp for a while and he has to play on pots and pans in the kitchen.

I think this thing is going to cause an enormous amount of reassessment of lifestyle everywhere in the nationand that we're due for a back-to-the-land trend in population movement

The entire nation needs to take a month off regardless of cost. Right now we're on a trajectory for more than a million deaths.
Remember when we were arguing about unions and I said that our problem wasn't the world's most productive workforce, it was short-sighted and generally piss-poor management? Same issue here.

Also greed.
Listened to Yvon Chouinard (Patagonia Company Founder) on the Meateater podcast recently. There was a proposal that as a good faith showing they should donate a percentage of their Black Friday sales to charity. He said ‘fuck it, let’s donate ALL of our sales. Their sales multiplied something like ten times over previous years. What they received in return were a shit ton of new customers which are hard to get. Business has continued to improve.
Sometimes, doing the right thing gets rewarded.

Re: Poll: After The Virus?
My wife is a Realtor so it has affected her. But it's not a consistent, predictable income stream anyway. I make plenty enough to keep us going along comfortably and so far, anyway, it does not look like that's going to change.
In fact, honestly, we have been in a time where I have been using my income to cover her losses because she and a partner started their own brokerage at the start of 2020. Unfortunate timing for them. But the fact that they're not trying to operate right now could be saving me money.
