got back to even. :thumb:

I'll stick around for a while...see if it makes one more jump.
I might be losing some green on it this week. Decided to buy some calls and was almost there until I don't know what happened. Still 2 days left but the Greeks are eating up any profit...
should have dumped it first thing this a.m. when it hit 1.95. Would have made a tidy profit then. Seems to spike first thing in the morning then settle back down through the course of the day.

Even you couldn't be more wrong about that. I see military confrontation with China as inevitable. Trump does dog tricks for Putin in public.
After you've wiped the Chinese spooge off your chin, tell me how electing the socialist dolts like Bernie that you support will help us avoid or win this inevitable military confrontation?
...Bernie!....Socialists!....Chinese spooge! :ohno:

Heavy flow day I presume?

So it's inevitable, let's just speed up the process and flush the country down the drain. In other words, you have nothing but more scat.

The socialist dolts who were advocating for domestic manufacturing and fighting globalism for decades? Those socialist dolts?

The socialist hypocrite who relies heavily on class divisions and scapegoating capitalism but who owns three homes and enjoys a very comfortable life thanks to capitalism. The career politician who has never held a real job in his adult life. That socialist dolt?
Yep, that socialist dolt.

China is already blacking out the Celtics over this:

I love it. Kanter is putting the NBA on the spot. This is actual truth speaking to power. I also like how he calls out the hypocrites.

I can’t wait to see how the NBA responds

Is this Whiny Cunt's Day or something? :?

The news isn't all bad, Myrtle; the Chinese will certainly do a better job of managing our economy than we have. :coffee:

He's certainly bringing up some very uncomfortable truths. A lot of people make a lot of money on their dealings with China and just look the other way.

Frankly, I don't think athletes should skip the Olympics. I think the best thing would be for athletes to show up and protest en masse. Make it uncomfortable for China. They don't like opinions.

I’m torn

I think we should isolate them

But the idea of winning more medals than them is appealing.

But podium protests are now and have always been meaningless. Our complete absence is something that cannot be blacked out by MSNBC er, I mean Chinese state media

But a complete absence would just be played up by the Chinese as us capitulating to them and afraid to compete on the same field. And, kinda like how we succeeded when the Soviets boycotted LA, the Chinese would have a whole slew of more medals to trumpet in our absence. I agree, podium protests are meaningless, but I don't think it would be restricted to the podium - athletes could be wearing stuff or protesting things all over the place during their competitions. They can black out the protests if they want, but even the most simplest Chinese viewer will be wondering where the Olympics went if they started blacking out everything. Not that it would move the needle all that much, the simplest Chinese viewer can't do very much, but it would make the powers that be more uncomfortable and it would keep embarrassing China globally. Heck, the WTA is pretty small in the grand scheme of things and they made China squirm with this whole debacle.

Can we have AOChe's dress designer help with Olympic uniforms? We could put things like "Uyghur Lives Matter", " Taiwan Is An Independent Nation", and "Free Hong Kong" on our uniforms and drive the censors crazy trying to blur them as the athlete competes.

China boycott about 'right and wrong,' WTA boss says as rift deepens over Peng Shuai
As its rift with China over the Peng Shuai case deepened Thursday, the head of the Women’s Tennis Association said he was suspending all tournaments in the country's mainland and Hong Kong because some things are “bigger than money.”

The boycott move sparked more angry reaction from Beijing, while Olympics officials said they had held a second video call with the player, who was not seen in public for three weeks after making sexual assault allegations last month against a former senior Chinese Communist Party official.

WTA CEO Steve Simon made his comments to NBC's “TODAY” show, saying he does not believe that China or its tennis authorities have provided sufficient answers over Peng's safety and freedom.

“This is a decision about what’s right and wrong,” Simon said. “It’s not a decision that can be influenced by business or the dollars or the politics that may be associated with it.”

Simon’s comments come as the International Olympic Committee revealed Thursday it had held another call with Peng and arranged to meet her in person in January. The IOC has been heavily criticized by human rights activists and China-watchers for its acceptance that Peng is safe and acting freely, as well as the apparent absence from those calls of any discussion about her original allegation.

The saga has led to renewed focus on both China and the sporting body ahead of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

Defending itself Thursday, the IOC said in a statement it had “taken a very human and person-centered approach to her situation,” and that it was using “quiet diplomacy,” which it said was “the most promising way to proceed effectively in such humanitarian matters.”
I need to start watching more WTA Tennis. This type of behavior should be rewarded.

Who trusts the IOC?

As a former enlisted troop I hate to get caught out of character praising the officer corps but even a dumb cunt like you should be able to recognize that the General may have saved our Republic's bacon and that it is a good thing that the guys calling the shots for our military are highly educated. Thank all the gods for West Point and Annapolis providing the only adults in the room during those foul years.
Your attitude toward China is similar to Trump's toward Putin.
