Regardless of the validity of the charges, Trump is well within his powers to commute/pardon per the constitution. We may not like that this person or that person gets a commuted sentence but nothing illegal was done here. It'll certainly give fuel to the liberals but that would happened with ANYONE that Trump pardons/commutes.

I second CIDs statement about the DoJ. But we all know that isn't going to happen. Our government is fully corrupt and our leadership spineless.

Trump thinks that any accusations against him or his ballsack lickers are unjust while any accusations against his opponents or anyone he feels has betrayed him are completely justified.
That’s true about Trump and his toadies

But none of this changes the salient fact that the whole “collusion” story was a manufactured conspiracy theory - which was used by anti-Trump bureaucrats to try to undo the results of an election

No conspiracy theory - no Roger Stone or Flynn charges... its that simple

We should all be happy this turned out the way it did, because the manipulations that hamstrung our executive and legislative branches for the better part of 3 years could be turned on any President

My only hope is that some of these malfeasants in the DoJ get a day in court as a deterrent to other unelected officials who may be tempted to break their oaths of office

This. And it's one of the things that, with all things Trump, may get lost in the morass that is Trump's presidency - we had a previous administration investigating the election campaign of a rival party, and then set the wheels in motion to have that incoming administration be investigated the moment it took office, and all based on what's now been proven to be completely groundless information, even more so, groundless information that people knew was groundless but still used to further the investigation. As far as I know, that's without precedence in our republic. I get it that Trump is detestable, but that should never have driven the conduct of elected and unelected officials to circumvent the system the way they did to oppose that administration. With our leaders acting like this, are we surprised that we have such a lack of trust in leadership in this country even in turbulent times as these?

Ibanez is correct about quality over quantity. But even regarding quantity, a President commuting more people isn't a bad thing. It means a President is doing their job, reading up on and actually reviewing cases. Sure they'll make some bad calls, but it shows some dedication to the role of the Presidency. And in many cases, the times people were sentenced in were overly harsh and the President is doing their job - as executor of laws - to bring the sentences to modern standards. If anything, it shows compassion and a willingness to not keep prisoners stuck in the past.

I remember it, as well. I was 17ish.
Quantity is nice but quality matters more, IMO.

If we're looking at Quantity - it seems that Democrats are more likely to be compassionate than Republicans. At least in the Top 10.

Trumplorables are ballsack lickers because it hints at their repressed homosexuality. I a name that would apply equally to the socialisdiots but I'm open to suggestions.

I've been teasing Alphie and BDK about their repressed homosexuality for a while. They take it and dish it back out better than you.
