He thought he could schmooze Bob Woodward into writing a positive book about him. What a dumbass.

He'll give it at least 4 erections.CitadelGrad wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 8:54 pmI can't wait for your review of Cuties.JohnStOnge wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 3:06 pm He thought he could schmooze Bob Woodward into writing a positive book about him. What a dumbass.
Right. This is an Occam's Razor situation. Trump is an idiot.SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 6:56 pm Woodward was playing checkers and Trump was playing 4D chess.
You should rethink your Trump idiot strategy. The guy is tearing a new one as President, and in a MAGA way.JohnStOnge wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2020 2:21 pmRight. This is an Occam's Razor situation. What the fuck does this even mean?SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2020 4:00 pm The guy is tearing a new one as President, and in a MAGA way.
I didn’t vote for him nor did I panic at his election. I hoped for the best. But after 5 years of him at the forefront, the evidence of his idiocy is overwhelming.

OK I will admit I probably dumbed down the term idiotic. I use the term brilliant idiot often ( usually in relation to Paul Krugman, but their are others). I don't think doing or saying idiotic things is an necessarily aspect of low intelligence. I think it is in Paul Krugman's case simply believing you are smarter than everyone else and then can't see that you put your biases above logic and reason. In Trump's case, I think his ego is so yuuuugge, that he can't see past his self perceived greatness.kalm wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2020 7:45 pmI didn’t vote for him nor did I panic at his election. I think he’s a 3rd grade level bully-jujitsu master who leveraged his wealth to get where he’s at. That doesn’t take smarts that just takes balls and a willingness to not give a fuck about what other people want or think.
Ah. I can dig that in general and Krugman is a good example. Can we then agree that Trump is not only a “very stable genius” but a truly brilliant idiot?OL FU wrote: ↑Sat Sep 12, 2020 5:14 amOK I will admit I probably dumbed down the term idiotic.
