The evidence of that is overwhelming. Good to see you around.

Truthfully I generally stay out of politics anymore. Most people's ability to actually discuss politics in any reasonable form has disappeared ( I guess understandably so to some extent). I am one of those that didn't vote for Trump, can't see myself voting for Trump but actually agree with a lot of what has happened under his administration ( certainly not everything ). With the realization that any one that runs for president has an ego that is taller than the Redwoods, Trump beats them all by a moon shot.

I saw a cartoon once, may have been on this site where a couple was laying in bed watching the democratic debate with all the candidates shouting "FREE! FREE! FREE!" and then the flipped over and watched Trump shouting "ME! ME! ME!"

Unfortunately that largely sums up just how stupid our politics have become.

I didn’t vote for him nor did I panic at his election. I hoped for the best. But after 5 years of him at the forefront, the evidence of his idiocy is overwhelming.

I think he’s a 3rd grade level bully-jujitsu master who leveraged his wealth to get where he’s at. That doesn’t take smarts that just takes balls and a willingness to not give a fuck about what other people want or think.

I don't think doing or saying idiotic things is an necessarily aspect of low intelligence. I think it is in Paul Krugman's case simply believing you are smarter than everyone else and then can't see that you put your biases above logic and reason. In Trump's case, I think his ego is so yuuuugge, that he can't see past his self perceived greatness.
