The Black Lives Matter people are going way off the rails on this one. There were things about this one I didn't know until the Kentucky Attorney General laid things out today. It was a tragic thing. Mistakes were made and there needs to be accountability for that. But the police did announce themselves then when they came through the door they were fired upon. Anybody familiar with my posts over the years know that I am not a big fan of police. I look at them as a necessary evil. But there is no way any of those police should be charged with homicide.

Also there is a problem when we have mobs creating this kind of atmosphere where officials know that there is going to be a bunch of turmoil if police are not charged and then convicted of serious charges. It is like a lynch mob from the old TV westerns with a bunch of people standing outside the jail demanding that somebody be hanged. It should stop. It won't. But it should.

I may be the most philosophically conservative person on this site. You should not construe recognizing that Trump is an atrocity and that the Republican Party has lost its way as meaning someone is not a conservative. In fact, I think any true conservative with a brain would be abandoning the Republican Party right now and would NEVER vote for somebody like Donald Trump.

Wait a second.

This wasn't a "no-knock" warrant??

They announced themselves, and then got shot at? And an officer was indicted for returning too many shots?

Doesn't the whole narrative fall apart if the police announced themselves?

I think it was a no-knock warrant but the officers announced themselves anyway.

The shots of the officer who was indicted went into a neighboring apartment where a family with a child lived. Maybe he was firing wildly.

Fake News MSM media has been saying for months the police executed a no knock warrant and that Taylor was shot in bed (she apparently was shot in the hallway).

Hhhhmmmm....I get the feeling we're dealing with a movement that doesn't care about facts and evidence. Who could've predicted? :geek:

Link's? I think I read a month+ ago about them announcing despite the no-knock.

Louisville geared up for tonight days in advance. NG on standby, and all PD vacation requests denied/cancelled. After the cops were shot, they arrested EVERYBODY.

Remember folks, these are not planned "protests". Zero organization whatsoever. Also, antifa doesn't exist. :coffee:

Move over uncle! I just received my first wheat harvest check but the sharecropper (they’re still called that, right?) who works the land for us is retiring. Gonna look into the CRP program and get paid not to farm. Being conservative is the bees knees!

There are a few hoops to jump through but it can be worth while. Makes for some good deer hunting land.

Big hoop is that your county can't have over 25% of current cropland already be enrolled in CRP.

Our new neighbor is an avid pheasant hunter and we’ve briefly talked about creating upland habitat and releasing some birds. Another thought is to lease it to an organic farmer....

Or grow bodacious amounts of commercial weed.
