My wife is voting for the first time in a few years, so we are dropping off. I usually like to vote in-person.

I indicated "in person on election day" because that seems to be the most likely right now. I definitely wouldn't do early voting because, in my experience, there is more of a crowd when you do that than when you go on election day. It's associated with the fact that there are fewer locations for early voting. At least that's the way it is where I live.
I considered mail in voting but I don't think that is going to happen.
I also considered not voting at all because I don't live in a State where the outcome is in doubt. But I think when it comes right down to it I will vote. I have voted in every Presidential election of the portion of my lifetime starting when when I got old enough to vote.

I'm an in person on election day kind of guy. I don't have any problem with wider periods of voting or mail in voting (assuming it can be secure - in other thread, I liked how the Utah system was described). The more accessible to make voting the better in my opinion, again, so long as it's secured. But I like going into the polling place and voting there - feels like an event.

I’ve always voted on Election Day, in person.
Early voting (in person) opens tomorrow in Texas....think I’ll take advantage of it this year so I can go sequester at the lake when the shit hits the fan after a Trump blowout. Let things calm down a bit...

Normally (every other year) in person. This year by mail. Doesn't really matter in my precinct. Governor is the only race not already decided in MD and he's not up this year.

Me too, but it's more to see the reaction of the volunteers when they see I'm an R. I've posted my horrible experiences here over the years.

Typically vote-by-mail, the system Oregon has deployed successfully since 1998.
This year, drop-off at one of the polling boxes as early as possible.

In person on election day. Even more so now that I take Lil CCU with me so she can see the process.
And this year is important for SC - there's an honest to god chance that Lindsey Graham will lose and a small, sliver of a chance that Trump could lose SC (though, unlikely).
A look at my ballot - it's likely i'll vote for 4 Democrats/ 4 Republicans then several "Non-partisans"

Voted in person and early this year.
We voted in person during the primary at an AME church. They poll workers were very tough on masks, wiping down machines and people being distant from one another.
Here's a question for the board. How far are you from your voting location and what is it?
Mine's a Presbyterian Church at the front of my neighborhood. It's .7mi away; a 13 minute walk or a 2 minute drive.

My vote went out in the mail last Friday.
I could have dropped it at the auditors office, but I have other shit to do than spend an hour getting to and from the drop box since apparently having drop boxes anywhere other than the auditor office is horrible and fake.
I've gone in person in 08, 12, and 16 but did absentee this year just because fuck the "VOTING BY MAIL IS FRAUD AN ILLEGAL EXCEPT WHEN TRUMP AND ALL HIS ALLIES DO IT" crowd.

That's what Google Maps says, that isn't from personal experience. It's not flat nor a straight line. I'll walk it today and time it.

My polling location is at the township building - could walk it in about 20 minutes or just a 5 minute drive down the road.

My polling station - at least until I move out - is 3 or 4 blocks east of me. It's a couple minutes to walk to 30 seconds by car.
Another part of the reason I voted absentee early is because of moving and dealing with all of that.
I didn't want to deal with being registered at this address and then showing up to vote and having moved and get that all sorted out, because the polling station would change and other crap I just don't need.
So I voted before I moved.
However, I'm sure a Trumplican is bound to tell me I voted illegally. I voted at an address ad moved and change addresses before election day and after voting, telling me I committed voter fraud.

For myself or the many dead people that I represent on election day? And for which address? Oregon or Illinois?
