Who Else Does Trump Pardon?

The potential abuses are rather obvious. Who will be the star of pardon’s?
Does Trump have the stones to resign in order for Pence to preemptively pardon his crimes?
It would almost be surprising if he doesn’t.
Obviously, Mason never met Trump. But clearly he had someone like Trump in mind. Trump’s pardon of Manafort and Stone, especially when added to his pardons of Michael Flynn, is of exactly the sort Mason feared—in which an apparent connection exists between the president’s personal acts and those of the people whose crimes he has excused. Manafort, Stone, and Flynn, in different ways, were connected to Trump and allegations of criminality. Their pardons may, in part, be rewards for their refusal to help in holding Trump to account—at least that is how it appears to many observers.

I don’t know. But most experts on CNN and Fox say that accepting a pardon is an admission of guilt. Otherwise - there’s nothing to pardon.

Or it’s the only way to get your life back after being wrongly convicted/targeted/entrapped.

I’m not a lawyer and I didn’t stay at a Holiday Inn last night, but I believe a President pardon is only for federal changes...
I think people like the NYS Attorney General are going to be a bigger problem for Trump...

Yes. And you pardon people for crimes ergo if Trump pardons himself it means he’s guilty of a crime.

And why is this an issue with Trump? EVERY President to my knowledge has done this at the end of their term, and even throughout. Open to abuse? Sure. But why the freakout about Trump when EVERY President engages in it?

I agree with Kalmy. Slick Willy and Marc Rich are probably the closest comparison.
Everything Lil' Donnie does he has to do yugely. I think he might be compensating.

For what!? Obama's guilty as hell of many crimes, but we all know he's not going to be prosecuted for any of that, so Trump can just make it official. Pardon him of his crimes now.
While he's at it, pardon Hillary as well.

And also the Supreme Court.
This brings us to the differences between legislative immunity and a pardon. They are substantial. The latter carries an imputation of guilt; acceptance a confession of it. The former has no such imputation or confession.

Also, since they can't self incriminate themselves for charges they have accepted a pardon for, they also can't invoke the 5th amendment to testify about those crimes...

Obstruction of Justice, if he weren't in office.
The elephant in the room of course is Mr. Wesselberg, from whom we haven't heard a peep since Manafort, Cohen, Stone, Flynn, et al, went down. I think he's the one guy that can get immunity.
best of all is that as we speak Trump's taxes are being gone through by ........... Maxine Waters.

You're like the Japanese soldiers that were popping up on Pacific islands 40 years after WW2.
