No, the White House pride flag display did not violate flag code

A wider photo of the White House’s pride month festivities from the Associated Press shows that an American flag on a staff remained at the top of the White House, far higher than the pride flag and two American flags seen in the photos posted by the congresspeople.

Can’t see that flag set way back on the roof from the closer vantage point (see all the closer pictures),

and that flag is displayed at a completely separate location of a ginormous building/complex (see how small it appears compared to the 3 closer), and display in a separate manner from the other 3.

Still a violation.

Nope. Flag code, Section 10:

§10. Modification of rules and customs by President

Any rule or custom pertaining to the display of the flag of the United States of America, set forth herein, may be altered, modified, or repealed, or additional rules with respect thereto may be prescribed, by the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States, whenever he deems it to be appropriate or desirable.

In short, the code specifically says the President can display the flag however they want.
