I have a case of that today. There are two possible inside match scenarios that would be even, but if I get one of the guys, we are unbeatable.

Yes. It’s hidden in the OP.

1. Kalm starts thread
2. Gets told it will go nowhere
3. Accusations and assumptions of commie abound

Yes there have been consequences but questions abound:
  • Are voting laws in Colorado more strict than Georgia even with the new law?
  • Did MLB do the right thing? Should they have moved the game to Colorado or someplace like Milwaukee? Should they have moved the game at all?
  • Will athletes and sports leagues stand up for the Uighurs, Hong Kong, etc. and boycott the Beijing Olympics?
  • Will there be no end to the hypocrisy on both sides?

The GOP stands for nothing at this point. The DNC/GPUS/LP at least have ideas, whether you disagree with them or not.
GOP most certainly stands for a lot of things:

Secure borders
Personal accountability/freedom
Lower taxes
Reduced regulation/red tape
American jobs
Energy independence
Family values

And the list goes on and on.....the DNC, on the other hand, their ideas will bankrupt the country at warp speed.

Both parties are bankrupting the country at warp speed.
  • Personal freedom unless it's a couple of homosexuals who want to get married.
  • Does the GOP stand for American jobs? Or do they stand for corporate profits?
  • Any party that nominates Trump has lost the high ground when it comes to claiming they stand for family values.

Lower taxes- for the uber rich. The lower and middle class will make up the difference. The IRS already said they won't audit the rich.
Reduced regulation/red tape- like the kind that made Texans freeze to death while their Senator vacationed in Cancun
American jobs- like the ones lost under the last republican president
Energy independence- got one right
Family values- like the thrice married ex-president. Trying to get blowjobs in airport bathrooms. Asking your mistress to peg you. Paying for sex while trafficking underage girls.

And the list goes on and on.....the DNC, on the other hand, their ideas will bankrupt the country at warp speed.
FYP. And I hate to agree with Trip but he has a point. The RNC is bankrupt. Instead of offering new ideas, the only tactic they have left is to get in the way. With an aging demographic, this isn't sustainable.

Itrs easy to teach people to fly an airplane, harder to teach them how to fix one.
Not sure I buy that one completely. We have a good amount of pilots that like to fly by checklist instead of through airmanship.

Our military really feeds the airlines some great pilots.
They have literally taught monkeys how to fly a plane but they still can't teach one to fix them

Maybe I'm biased because I see twin aisle commercial plane go out on test flights and cut that flight short due to what we refer to as flight squawks (issues), only to see our mechanics fix the issue and usually get the plane back up that same day to finish the test flight.

No, these candidates do not appeal top the majority of Americans. They are swine and have been exposed as such. McConnell will get reelected because that is what Kentucky does.

Wasn’t deregulation that caused the TX blackouts, Bobby. Was years of favoring the construction of heavily subsidized renewable energy sources over more reliable electricity generation.
It was the massive failure of the natural gas plants that were the leading cause of the blackouts.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/202 ... er-weather
https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-fact ... SKBN2AJ2EI
https://interestingengineering.com/what ... y-blackout

"Contrary to what some state politicians have said, the blackouts weren’t primarily the fault of frozen wind turbines. It was largely a problem with natural gas, which is the state’s primary energy source. "

"Natural gas wells and pipelines in Texas, the country’s biggest energy-producing state, do not undergo the winterization of those farther north - resulting in many being knocked offline by the prolonged freezing weather (here).

The storm has knocked about a third of the state’s generating capacity offline. Contrary to comments made by Marjorie Taylor Greene and others, the power grid in Texas relies heavily on natural gas, responsible for nearly half the electricity generated (here)."

"While Texas leads the U.S. in the production of natural gas, that gas couldn't be used to provide electrical power and to heat homes in Texas because of the way natural gas is stored. It is stored in underground chambers, and to bring it to the surface, a pump is required. The cold temperatures knocked out the diesel engines that power these pumps. Also, natural gas pipelines used to transfer the gas froze."

Wrong on the IRS, Bobby. Those making over 500k have the highest chance of getting audited.
Rich taxpayers

You are just making stuff up.
The new Internal Revenue Service figures compiled by Syracuse University researchers show that in the last eight years, there has been a 72 percent drop in the number of audits of those making more than $1 million. In all, 98 percent of those making more than $1 million did not face an audit last year.
