It's kinda funny, the fastest way to get liberal blue check marks on Twitter or the liberal Slate comment section at each other's throats is to bring up Israel-Palestine issues, but in a place like this that's more politically diverse...crickets.

Should I hold my breath waiting for Tlaib to condemn Hamas for putting civilians at risk?

No.

Taleeb is the scion of Palestinian rocket launchers

A close examination of her finances would likely turn up some interesting outlays

CID answered your question, so I'll throw out some of my life history. While this Tweet is of the Iron Dome, when I was in basic training, we spent two weeks on bivouac out at White Sands Missile Base when they were testing the Patriot missiles.

It's probably safe to hold my breath waiting for Tlaib to condemn IDF for putting civilians at risk.

That works for both sides though, right?

Can we buy the Palestinians an iron dome too? It would help missile sales.

The civil society organization alQaws for Sexual and Gender Diversity in Palestinian Society reported that LGBTI people continued to be denied the freedom to exercise their rights, even though consensual same-sex relationships are not criminalized in the West Bank. Meanwhile, Section 152 of the Penal Code applicable in Gaza criminalizes consensual same-sex sexual activity and makes it punishable by up to 10 years’ imprisonment.

What a moronic, tone deaf, ill informed statement.

Iran is driving this in an attempt to bushwhack the Abraham Accords by making it politically harder for Sunni countries to normalize relations with Israel

Don’t fall for the John Kerry school of Middle East political stupidity. Anyone coming down on the side of the PA and Hamas in this thing is going to look very dumb, very soon (aside from supporting state sponsors of terrorism)

So the Israeli’s don’t influence through funding US candidates?

Is this truly that one sided and Israel deserves no scrutiny?

I heard IDF has knocked off quite a few of Hamas' top folks. Can't wait for the tanks to roll when the rocket attacks keep up.

Kind of funny how these attacks started not too long after the Biden* Admin gave more monies to the palestinians and the Iranians. Who would have thought?

OF COURSE Israel deserves scrutiny! Put your straw man away.

Hamas is launching Iranian rockets and now drones at Israeli population centers, without provocation and your first reaction is to reserve space for criticism of Israel? They have their warts too but you are off the goddamn reservation, klam

SD don’t fool yourself. When the cartels start hitting people in Laredo and El Paso, klam and co will dutifully remind us of our historical crimes

Iron Dome is an Israeli developed and built system. You think they would make one to be bought for the Palestinians. :dunce:

Ooh! Oooh! I get a nickname!!’

You’re the person who brought up financial support of congress critters. I would agree it plays a roll. Is there a direct connection to Taleeb? Is it legal? I’m genuinely curious.

Just reading Israel "fibbed" about a ground invasion and of course the media ran with the story. The effect was Hamas ran for the tunnels where Israel dropped 450 (?) bombs on them.

Might not have the specifics, but you get the gist.
