A SECOND building has collapsed, this one a 5-story building in DC under construction.
Once is a dot.
Twice is a line.
Three times is a trend............

It was a multi-split being built (looks like maybe 2 or 3 condo units), and from the pics the collapse happened late during the framing process.
My guess is the general contractor f*cked up really bad. I suppose it's possible, but I can't imagine an architect/engineer screwing up the structural for something this cookie-cutter. It seems like a generic wood-frame home.
