Unfair fight. One has a brainstem. The other? Mmmmm….not so much.SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 5:09 pm It's been a one way beat down. DeSantis been killing Biden.
Wrong and wrong. He’s gonna ride in on his white horse in 3 years and save this country.kalm wrote: ↑Sun Aug 08, 2021 7:18 am Political theater. DeSantis is all about freedom and communities. So much so that he’s taking local control of Covid restrictions away.
I’m still waiting to see why you guys get the vapors over DeSantis. He’s a sleazy politician just like Joe. He’s also wrong about Covid.

Right on! We’ll drain it this time for sure!
It would be perfect if I didn't have grandkids too young to be vaccinated. Hate to see any of them catch it from some inbred booger-eater from AlabamaCID1990 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 08, 2021 2:47 pm So they are both right and wrong...
Biden, based on an opinion I don’t share, digged on FL for their infection rate. He is correct on the data
Personally, who the fuck cares? This is basically a pandemic of the unvaccinated. Dems should like that, for inverse reasons for why they like our open border... one subtracts GOP voters, one adds Dem voters
On the other hand, DeSantis is correct that the WH cannot wag fingers at anybody when they are paroling an all time record number of border jumpers without COVID testing or vaccination ((50k a couple weeks ago alone... with no notice to appear dates)

You should be more worried about them getting struck by lightening. Or eaten by a shark. Or swallowed in a tornado. All those are more likely.houndawg wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 7:32 pmIt would be perfect if I didn't have grandkids too young to be vaccinated. And 1900 are currently hospitalized with it.
What a retarded quote:
When in the same article it says:"This is not last year's COVID. This one is worse and our children are the ones that are going to be affected by it the most," Sally Goza, former president of the American Academy of Pediatrics, told CNN on Saturday.
So, which is it? Is it going to "affect children the most"? Or are they only 2.4% of the current hospitalizations?Children currently make up about 2.4% of the nation's COVID-19 hospitalizations.
Sucks being the one. How many will have long term effects? What will the total hospitalizations look like once Delta has run its course?
It's always easier when it isn't your kid. Just like leukemia, cancer, birth defects, autism, etc., etc. It's ALWAYS easier when it's not your kid.
1). None of those are contagious.AZGrizFan wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 7:41 amIt's always easier when it isn't your kid. Just like leukemia, cancer, birth defects, autism, etc., etc. It's ALWAYS easier when it's not your kid.
And does it suck to be the one? Yes it does. But kids die from shit every single day. Every day. Are we gonna shut down the country again to save that one kid?
So what do you want to do? To save that one kid? Because that appears to be YOUR point.kalm wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 7:50 am1). None of those are contagious.AZGrizFan wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 7:41 am

2). No one wants the country to shut down or go back to March 2020 when we were at the closest.
That’s kind of the point.
Get kids back in school of in-person learning. If parents don't feel comfortable with their kids in school then they can homeschool. If a district wants to require masks, let the district require masks. If parents don't want their children wearing masks then they can homeschool.
