SCOTUS to hear oral arguments in
NY State Rifle and Pistol v Bruen on Wednesday.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Yor ... ._v._Bruen
The case could overturn arbitrary local denials of citizens' constitutional right to bear concealed firearms outside of their homes.

I'm surprised our board wokes aren't up in, ahem, arms about the racial injustice of gun control:
We are public defenders. New York’s gun laws eviscerate our clients’ Second Amendment rights.
...New York also aggressively and specifically targets Black and Latinx people for firearm possession under the pretext that their possession is unlicensed. As former Mayor Michael Bloomberg explained, the city believes that racially disparate approach is justified. As a result, virtually all — about 96% — of the people arrested by the NYPD for simple firearm possession are Black or Latinx. Thus, while white people throughout the nation amass firearm arsenals even as hobbies, Black and Latinx New Yorkers are arrested, prosecuted, and imprisoned for simply possessing a single pistol for self-defense...

They can’t…because they’d have to argue for gun rights for all, and we know that would create cognitive dissonance

Still no love for the blacks and the latinxs by the board wokes? WTF?
How about the gays and trannies? They want their 2A rights protected too!
On May 18, 2013, Mark Carson, a 32-year-old gay man, was walking peacefully along the sidewalk with a friend in New York’s City West Village, only blocks from the area many consider to be the birthplace of the American gay rights movement. The two were minding their own business, not bothering anyone. But their perceived relationship alone was enough to set one man off. “You look like gay wrestlers,” the man shouted at them, hatefully. “Faggots” and “queers,” he called them. Bravely, Mr. Carson turned to confront the man about his hate. That was the last thing Mr. Carson ever did.
