Don't Look Up

Watched this one last night because of all the Buzz it's getting. Hate to admit it, but it was better than I thought it would be.
If you liked Idiocracy's style of humor, you'll like this movie. I wish there was some allegorical representation of nuclear opposition but at least it also mocks the media and celebrity activism. I like that it doesn't try to be all high-brow subtle but *mostly* doesn't get too over-the-top and hyperbolic.
Really, it could apply as a general critique and not just apply to global warming and it's too bad it'll get stuck in those weeds.
Also, I don't care for Jennifer Lawrence and don't know how she keeps getting roles but at least she doesn't ruin the movie.
7.5/10 Not a masterpiece but worth the watch.

Solid 8 from me. Really enjoyed it. Be sure to watch through the credits…worth it. Jonah Hills character had me rolling.
You can really see some parallels with recent political ideologies and such (trump rally’s and ignoring facts which are plain as day)

No shit. I skimmed that bio and I’m pretty sure celeb health mag is another sign of the impending apocalypse. Maybe the Doomsday Glacier strikes before Giant Asteroid.
