I don't listen to POTUS press conferences at all but this one takes the cake. I'm waiting for him to say, " Not in my America!"

He sounds like my grandfather (god rest his soul) when he got angry and started ranting over lite beer my grandmother purchased.

Not a good day, but anyone who thinks Democracy was in any real danger on January 6th is either or an idiot or pandering, full stop.

Democracy could've ended without the rioters getting within a mile of the Capitol or it could've survived if everyone in the congressional chambers getting killed. Trump could've been removed from the WH like a police officer might remove an unruly drunk guy from a bar and rioters eventually can be dispersed with force. What matters is ultimately do the people with uniforms and guns (mainly the military) back the elected CiC or not.

Glenn Greenwald was right all along that Democrats and Never-Trumper Neocons are attempting to use this day like the GOP used 9/11.
