...as a conservative INDEPENDENT, I do need to ask the question of why weren't we having these same protests when Bush and his friends were spending money hand over fist? There is NO difference, other than skin tone, between W and Barry Obama. They are both big government advocates. When will it end?

To be fair, Obama has absolutely
shattered Dubya's record for largest budget deficit. But I think you're right that him having a 'D' next to his name is a big part of it as well.

Somebody had to fix the mess that started on Bush's watch. Kudos to him for having the balls to do it.

This just in:
45% of America would rather have a Republican Lie about small government and spend like crazy
55% of America would rather have a Democrat do what they say they are going to do... SPEND
they both act the same: One party simply lies about it... the other does what they say they're going to do

Honestly, I cannot argue with you on that. It would be nice though someday to have a smaller form of govt.

So, fix it the same way we got into it? Spending more, going into more debt, and printing more money to solve the problems cause by: spending more, going into more debt, and printing more money?
I'm not one of these people saying how they hate Obama and he's a failure. Some things he's talking about I like, but his economic policies so far have been lacking to me.

Real Republicans wouldn't do what happened over the last 8 yrs. - it's the advent of the neocon that helped get us in trouble.
