What’s Driving the Talk of Civil War?

DEI hires? Trans people? High taxes on the rich and corporations?
Serious question. What great abuses and oppression are the likes of Kevin Roberts and State Senator George Lang living under that makes their minds turn to violence instead of addressing issues through debate, legislative action, and the courts?

Talk about violence peddlers and arsonists.

Gun control. The left is super scared because they know they cannot implement their socialist agenda to an armed populace. That's why gun owners sleep so well at night.

Both sides are ridiculous with this talk. The country isn't at stake, democracy isn't at stake, etc. Heck, we've been saying versions of that for multiple elections in a row and yet, here we are with still a pretty kick-ass country with a functioning democracy. Must be doing something right.

We live in what I believe is already the greatest country on earth. We have our problems with cultural extremists from both sides wanting to shove their morals down our throats but we're awesome despite them.

America used to be great its just not anymore.
I blame the Ivy educated "leaders" who have us 35 trillion in debt. I blame politicians that have unleashed inflation on our country trying to crush the middle class, I blame politicians that legislate hate, gun control laws, Patriot act and the dept of homeland security, I blame people that let criminals cross our borders and I blame people that make looting and rioting acceptable.
Its not that great and we are definitely not that free.

What are you not free to do that you think you should be free to do? Other than the speed limits and paying taxes, I pretty much can do whatever I want and live wherever I want in this country. What's not free about that?
Oh, and btw, the last I checked Penn is an Ivy League school, does that mean you're anti-Trump because of his alma mater? Heck, Vance went to Yale. Two Ivy Leaguers on that ticket.

Why just focus only on politicians and not the people who literally and openly pay them for creating these policy outcomes you take issue with?

I'm not a Trump guy. But yes people like JD Vance have fucked the USA up and have us in debt.
Get on an airplane and have all your rights stripped from you then ask yourself if you are as free as you think you are.

How many political and thought leaders on the left are openly calling for civil war?
Do their foot soldiers adorn themselves in memorabilia from the last one?
I included the J6 video for a reason.

Of course but the politicians have the last word. Since you missed the point. Its not every day Americans that have our country where it is its the educated bought and paid for scumbags

What specifically do you want to do on an airplane that they're not letting you do?

Drink, smoke, carry a pocket knife. Maybe not have nazi stewardesses with a little power try and get people thrown off planes because they can.

I remember when smoking was allowed on airplanes. I'm glad they don't allow that anymore.

Definitely worth fighting a civil war over.
Does the right do this in any way?

You can drink on planes, stop being cheap, just buy a drink. As for smoking, oh well. You can smoke before and after your trip, but if I need to be on a plane with a limited air recirculation I'm fine with you not being able to smoke. As for the pocket knife, again, tough beans. There are plenty of places you can't bring a weapon and even more places where you can. Again, I'm fine, in a small place like an airplane, with folks not having weapons. Anything else about planes that bug you?

Are those “rights”?
You can drink on a plane. You can’t bring your own but a lot of businesses don’t allow that and you’re not complaining about them.
Someone’s “right” to smoke shouldn’t supersede someone’s “right” not to breathe their secondhand smoke.
Not allowing knives, box cutter’s, etc. is smart after 9/11. You can put your pocket knife in a checked bag if you need it at your destination.
All the flight attendants I’ve dealt with have been great but I do hear stories about unruly passengers.
If you don’t like the rules, you can drive.

What could your definition be, do whatever you want, wherever you want, no matter the impact on other people's freedoms? Even libertarians recognize the concept of one person's freedoms impinging on another's and adjust accordingly. So you're saying you even go beyond libertarians? So you're an anarchist?
