Didn't pay much attention to the Pope as I'm not Catholic, but did feel he overstepped his boundaries a few times.

He did. You're right about that. The Pope wasn't on the same playing field and felt the need to interject into secular topics too much.

Having a TDS flare up I see. I don’t recall ever seeing Trump in a black suit. And Prince Harry also wore a blue suit FWIW.

Navy blue is fine for a Catholic funeral. Have you ever been to a Catholic funeral? As I recall the one I went to years ago I wore a dark gray suit. Plenty of other people there had Navy or dark gray. A lot of people don‘t even own black suits (I don‘t).
