Fraudchi‘s diary entries just show him to be an evil, despicable, lying, sociopath obsessed with fame.

hysterical approach to Covid fueled this adulatory coverage — which in turn fueled his vanity. Vicious cycle.

Of all ignorance, the ignorance of the educated is the most dangerous. Not only are educated people likely to have more influence, they are the last people to suspect that they don’t know what they are talking about when they go outside their narrow fields.”

Meh…

I’ll wait until I read something about it from someone without an axe to grind. If it ends up being as bad as the anti-vaxxers and covid denialists portray than Fauci deserves all the criticism. If it’s proven through this that Covid was a hoax and millions didn’t die from it or that social distancing vaccinations and treatments weren’t the best approach for dealing with a new pandemic from a scientific standpoint, I’ll admit I was fooled.

You see, CH, actual grown men will admit it if they’re wrong. You should try it sometime. :thumb:

Two things:

1) CH acts like I am/was a Fauxi fan. I'm not, just type Fauxi in the CS search bar and read my posts about him.

2) I don't have an axe to grind and I thought Fauxi while very knowledgeable was arrogant and compromised.

Fair. And FWIW, I followed epedidemiogists, research scientists, historians, data analysts and the like. Fauci was more of a PR spokesman.

Anthony Fauci pleads the Fifth during Republican questioning on COVID
Dr. Anthony Fauci may be held in contempt after refusing to answer Republicans' questions about the origins of COVID-19 as he sat in a witness chair invoking the Fifth Amendment right against incriminating himself.

Sen. Rand Paul, the Kentucky Republican who for years pushed for answers about the origin of the coronavirus, said a Senate panel will hold a vote on whether to hold Fauci in contempt. He said Fauci should have testified because President Joe Biden issued him a preemptive pardon.
Fauxi missed a golden opportunity - he could have answered every question with something like this:
"Joe Biden was certified as the winner of the 2020 election and served as president; I'm not going beyond that."

Democrats would have a  and maQa Republicans would have :pissed:
