It was only a matter of time before the CDC discovered an outbreak of Michele Bachmann quotes.

Bachmann, speaking on Pajamas TV, noted: "I find it interesting that it was back in the 1970s that the swine flu broke out then under another Democrat president Jimmy Carter. And I'm not blaming this on President Obama, I just think it's an interesting coincidence."

The 1976 swine flu scare happened on Gerald Ford's watch.

Its also worth noting that Ford made the 1976 instance worse then it would have been when he authortized the creatiion and distribution of a shot that killed more people then the flu itself

MB is so divorced from reality that she'd put frank away in 10 seconds...

nobody in the Dem caucus even comes close... the looniest the dems have is probably Maxine Waters or Sheila Jackson Lee... but neither of them have the ability to consistently produce stupid statements like MB

trust me... i've spent 2 years of my life trying to bring her down... she's their worst.

went through a pretty serious depression after the campaign ended... and still dealing with the professional repercussions as well. Every time she opens her mouth I have to explain to friends, family and colleagues why we weren't able to win.

eh... it's a bit different when you run the campaign. you pour your life in to it. and you cant raise any money and you defer your pay to keep from the campaign going broke... then in the last two weeks the entire country discovers your fight against this crazy broad... they pour 2 million bucks on you... but you can't spend it fast enough... you then lose by 2.5% because some douche with a common name slips in as a third party candidate (a party we were endorsed by, but since you can't be on two ballot lines, he spent 300 bucks and became their candidate) and pulls 10%. then you have your entire profession rail against you because you had half a mil in the bank at the end. :-/

yeah... it's been not so fun the last several months...
