Politics is no fun anymore, Obama is so damn serious and deadpan, and the former Republican party is now a bunch of dispersed sectarian tribes looking for leadership from people non nearly as silly as GWB, this sucks.

Long live sicle cell, down with intelligent government.

Give Biden a chance. If Obama doesn't keep him muzzled there should be plenty of opportunities for high comedy. Buffoons help to make politics interesting and we've have a pretty good run that looks like it will continue with Windbag Joe.

Obama is acting more like Bush everyday. First he decides to continue military tribunals, then he decides NOT to release the interrogation pictures. Conservatives will LOVE Obama if he flip-flops on just one more thing: GITMO!

Yawn...pointless. If you don't expect a politican to flip flop, you're incredibly stupid. If you expect a politician to keep his word, you need to be removed from the general population.

I would say, most of us on this board expect flipping since we talk about it all the time. What I love though, is to see the ultra liberal Seattle crowd almost break down in hysteria over all Obamas military flip flops.

I expect more "flip flops". Barack is now in the hot seat. He is learning things that only a few men on earth know and he has to make sure that his decision doesn't endanger lives or the country any more than it is. If that means he has to go back on his word, i'll understand. The thing about the photo's is that we know they exist, and it's going to be bad. Do we really need to see them? We have proof but do I need to see the photo's?

Same here. Obama had to start WAY out in left field in order to beat the Clinton machine. Once that was done, he continued to flip flop his way to the center to beat McCain, and now he is flip flopping even more because now he actually has to face reality and organize something more than a community.

Give him time. He is our leader and it will take time for him to learn everything. He has so much to digest, I do not envy him. I do not intend to be happy with every decision he makes, but he stands up for them. I think the biggest thing was when he said he didn't believe gays should marry, but he does think they should have the right. That's pretty ballsy in politics.

I'm very happy that Obama is making decisions based on facts and not campaign promises, especially since I believe they are to keep us safe.

Good for you, Tman. :|
"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."
