Unit Comes Under Fire; Solider Takes Action In Pink Boxers

If you're a male U.S. soldier who has the misfortune of being photographed wearing pink underwear while engaging the Taliban in Afghanistan, it's good to know the Defense Secretary has your back.
Defense Secretary Robert Gates gave a humorous shout-out to Army Specialist Zachery Boyd during a speech in New York City Thursday night.
As the Associated Press reports, Gates explained that after Boyd's unit came under Taliban attack:
"He immediately grabbed his rifle and rushed into a defensive position clad in his helmet, body armor, and pink boxer shorts that said 'I Love New York. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on your perspective, an AP photographer was there for a candid shot."

Big fuckin' deal? We can't take some ribbing from our buddies anymore? I think he's gonna be mentally tough enough to handle the razzing and he must not care too much because I would think his comrades may have seen those before this picture.

Personally I could care less if his name is released or not. If one is wearing "I love New York" boxers, he needs to get some ribbing. LOTS OF IT.

That is some pretty nice camo they are wearing, it matches the mountains very nicely. There is no way I'd stand next to the guy in red and pink.

they are in Primo high ground assault location... he could come out in a Cinderella outfit with a gold tiara and pound the sh!t out of the Taliban from that location

In that case our soldiers should wear burkha's. The idea of soldiers in burkha's kicking the crap out of the Taliban is very appealing.

That's why I was surprised the Army turned down my burkha wearing fembots with the 50 cal juggs.

I'm not the stereotypical gay guy (just your average boy next door gay guy), but I've NEVER committed that crime against fashion...on the other hand, the soldier is kinda cute regardless of his fashion choice
