I got that in an email a couple of years ago and man I did the same thing. Pretty amazing with a 50 cal. those snipers are. A whole lot of damage from a long, long way away.

I remember that video and also remember one that showed it was really rockchucks and not taliban getting shot.

Hate to brag, an' show my true colors, but....we got these things we call "whistle pigs", some folks call 'em ground hogs, some folks call 'em marmots, and some folks call 'em "got 'cha!"
But I swear, in one of those clips, it looked like rifle, guts, bones, and turban all flew through the air.
Kind a gave me a woodie there for a second.

No shit, I swear I noticed half an intact spinal column helicoptering out of the impact zone. Totally wicked. Man, that shit is almost worth enlisting for.

Yup, I been scammed. Blowing up rock chucks, that's something to do IN focus.

I coulda told ya right away those were marmots instead of people. My dad has photos from Afghan land from a buddy of his and it looks nothing like that. There is no green foliage. PLUS, a 150+ human would not fly that high from a .50. They might bounce a little, but not 10-15 ft in the air like these critters did.
Still good shooting.
