Joe, I was saying that the question of why the Jews don't believe that jesus is the son of god is probably a question that should be asked to a Jew, not to a Catholic.

I wasn't referring to anything you said.

Seriously, you need to ignore what Sr. Mary Judgmental told you in Fourth Grade and re-discover Catholicism. I think you'd be surprised about what Catholicism actually instructs. Maybe you would still not believe, but I think you'd be surprised.

One of the reasons I am attracted to Catholicism is that it explicitly instructs that people of all faith and belief, and people of no faith and belief, are being saved. I bet you never heard that in grammar school. Neither did I.

And for some reason, no matter how many times the Pope reaffirms this, it doesn't make the papers. But if so low-ranking Vatican prelate says something bad about condoms, it's a headline here in the US.

Both, but I don't think I was ever really Catholic until college.

Attended funeral mass on saturday for a long time friend and customer and it was surely the right thing to do. That being said, no house of worship that I know of goes out of their way to make visitors, and folks of other religious persuasions uncomfortable like the Catholics. Lots of lovely good people are members for sure, and I love them as much as anybody I can think of, but that's the way it seems to me. I have been to many Mormon funerals as well, but again, funeral mass takes the cake in my opinion.

Jolt's countless hours of studying fairy tales, confessing sins, lanquishing in church or the countless church related fuctions intentionally designed to ensure you have no life outside church (cult) and telling lies to his children could have been spent actually improving mankind and even perhaps gaining refined social skills, or achieving a better awareness of his obvious personality disorder - all key things that would have relieved him of his current abyss of lonliness, social awkwardness and self-loathing, which is why he needs religion in the first place.

Joe, what did the protestant theologian have to say about Jews not getting the memo that one of them saved the world and could get them a ticket into heaven if they behave?
