Kim "Lil Bitch" Jung Ir, has thrown down the gauntlet and threatened to use nuclear weapons in a "merciless offensive", if they are "provoked".

North Korea today said it would use nuclear weapons in a "merciless offensive" if provoked — its latest bellicose rhetoric apparently aimed at deterring any international punishment for its recent atomic test blast.

...Pyongyang raised tensions a notch by reviving its rhetoric in a commentary in the state-run Minju Joson newspaper today.
"Our nuclear deterrent will be a strong defensive means...as well as a merciless offensive means to deal a just retaliatory strike to those who touch the country's dignity and sovereignty even a bit," said the commentary, carried by the official Korean Central News Agency.
It appeared to be the first time that North Korea referred to its nuclear arsenal as "offensive" in nature. Pyongyang has long claimed that its nuclear weapons program is a deterrent and only for self-defense against what it calls US attempts to invade it.
The tough talk came as South Korea and the US lead an effort at the UN Security Council to have the North punished for its nuclear test with tough sanctions.

Either Obama/Clinton have implemented the most inept foreign policy in the history of our relations with NK, or they've intentionally allowed the debacle to boil over in an attempt to divert public attention from their failed domestic economic policies.

Obama's military and foreign policy is much better than I expected. I think he will get China to lay down the law on Nuke Korea. Domestic policy is still wait and see.

That's about the only thing Biden got right - that Obama would be tested in his first 6 months.
I don't think Lil' Kim is doing anything but sabre rattling - if the exalted ruler's missile tests go off course with the amazing North Korean missile technology demonstrated so far, he's likely to find the Northern part of the peninsula turned into a glass factory by either Russian, Chinese, or US warheads. God help him if he drops one on Japan or South Korea.

Also, close off their foreign bank accounts (Macao etc.) and their access to luxury goods for L'il Kim and his clique. Make a full effort to persuade the Chinese to help pressure Pyongyang. (The Chinese won't like it if, for example, Japan feels compelled to rearm to head off a NK threat.) Stop shipments of any goods that could help bolster NK's nuclear program.

It's time the U.S. bent that little rice pudding over and gave him an Uncle Sam enema.
