Farewell

Shipmates,

Starting next week, I will no longer be unemployed. Therefore, today is probably my last hurrah for a while on the political blogs. I will visit from time to time, but cannot possibly spend the same amount of time I have spent here in the past couple of months

It has been fun and interesting to participate. I appreciate the intelligence, wit and decency of many of the bloggers with whom it has been an honor and my privilege to cross swords and I hope to meet some of you in person someday.

Best wishes,
Native :D

Just check in at night for a couple of quick shots my friend and we'll be geting together at Montana/Weber game for a little tipping action. Glad we had ya for a bit as it's been interesting and fun having you beat the shit out of Cleets.

Don't waste your money, man. There are far better local brews to be had in Zoo-town.

Native, just as I was getting to know you, you leave. There's now an emptiness in my soul that will never be filled.

Fukcin' Native

Not trying to say you don't, but next time you're in Missoula, give Kettlehouse or Bayern a try; anything Kettlehouse makes is better than Moose Drool, which is definitely Big Sky's best.

I gotcha, I didn't realize moose drool was available that far away.

I strongly disagree. I am NOT a fan of Big Sky Brewing, their 'tasting' sucks. They don't give you a pint, they give you a little 3 oz glass. Not even enough to wet your palette.

Powder Hound is by far their best.

Big Sky sends their beer far far away. They are going the way of Sam Adams and Sierra Nevada.

like wine, a "tasting" is not a full serving... i've been to dozens of beer tastings, and the 3oz glass allows you to have 12 at a go.

Thanks for all the advice on beer, fellas. Guess I'll have to go to Missoula early, so I can sample 'em all!

I'm kinda like my fellow Okie WIll Rogers, who once said, "I never met a beer I didn't like."

...Didn't he say that?????

Cheers!

Yeah, and so have I. And every other beer brewery in MT that I have been to, and that is a lot, every one gives you a glass of beer. Big Sky says it is against the law and only gives you a little one. And the people they got working out there are about as snooty as ever. Fuck them. Bayern has my business forever. Owner is a good guy, beer is always good, beer tenders are all nice people.
