Delaware General Assembly Passes Gay Antidiscrimination Bill

Barely two days after the death of the bill's staunchest opponent, Sen. Thurman Adams (D-Bridgeville), the measure passed by a comfortable margin. Now it goes to the Governor, who will sign it.
Senator Adams, a powerful politician, almost single-handedly bottled up the bill for several years.
