...for the transfer of power to the Iraqi forces as if they ever wanted our troops to succeed. Guess daddy warbucks Reid is still telling himself the surge failed. And I love how the Baghdad people celebrated as the troops left. Yep, how long before their sorry asses cry and plead for us to help them again? Stupid people.

Jon, talk to an American soldier in Iraq right now....find out the truth...I think you are fair minded enough that you would change your donk-inspired-talking point created attitude...and I say that with all sincerity...

You know I do...my son is embedded with an Iraq battalion...it's not pretty...

The brown stuff is going to hit the oscillating overhead air mover soon.....

I think so as well. But a US Troop pullout is what both the Iraqis and the American People want.

I just think the shit will hit the fan whenever we leave, whether tomorrow or in 30 years.

The guys I know who are serving over there, and those who are back... they seem to be of the opinion that the war was a stupid idea and that getting out of there would do good. from what i've heard from them, their opinion was that Bush was a tard-scout and that getting out iraq (or never going in) was the right call.

now the officer corps... that's another matter entirely... esp. majors and colonels... they are an arm of the GOP. but the enlisted men and non-coms tend to be split similarly to the country as a whole.

I just think the **** will hit the fan whenever we leave, whether tomorrow or in 30 years.
And thus the problem with politicians like Obama...he doesn't do what is right, he does what the "People" want...

He's not a leader...he's an orchestrator...an arranger...not a leader...because leaders do what is right, not what is popular...

There is only one thing...ONE ONLY...that I admired about Bush...he didn't follow the polls...he followed his gut...

Too bad he need a case of Tums....but that's another story...

But in Bush's case, his gut was always WRONG...

One of the main reasons Obama was elected was to get us out of Iraq. Look how much damage was done to the military, and more importantly, to the troops, by an administration(s) that insisted on fighting a war that the majority of Americans did not want to fight (Vietnam).

Hogan, the right thing right now is to pullback. Short of killing everone there (I would not mind that personally) there is no solution. Everyone knows this.

Yeah, well you think the raghead world hates us now....lets see how much they like us when the shitstorm starts in Iraq and it becomes one big civil war over there that sucks in Turkey and Iran.

D, you make be correct...there is no solution...but walking away from a problem we as a nation created will only make things worse than the pile of smoldering sh!t we have today...that surely can't be good...

Glad to see we're pulling out of a country we invaded for __________ (insert new reason here). All of you who are yelling about us pulling out and the harm it's going to cause, what will you do if Iraq doesn't implode into civil war? If Iraq is generally successful will you give the GOP credit, or Obama for pulling out and letting Iraq succeed on it's own (which was the supposed plan put forth by Bush)? It's sad that you're looking forward to Iraq falling into civil war.

Bush-Tards who drank his piss on the necessity of starting a war of choice shall never recover, or admit their folly, it is not in their MO.

Same types that still pine over the Vietnam debacle, like the outcome of that stupid conflict has any bearing on the current state of affairs.

"Patriots" is starting to mean "war mongers" just like "Christians" is starting to mean "intolerant assholes."
